Beyond Human

I’ll start C/P either tomorrow or Tuesday. Pretty excited. Looks like a challenge. Training’s programmed for a desired max of 635. Need to find a way to emulate 2.5 plates. On another note, leaning down sufficiently.

What did you do for current max? Did you lowball or highball?

How much do you plan to gain from it.

I plugged a current max of 580. Since I normally max beltless and I intend to use a belt more often now, I think the modifiers confer my selection a bit of a lowball. Trying to hit 635 but if I only make week 8, I’d still be pretty pleased. I showed it to Los and he said it was doable.

Good luck with Coan/Phillipi… if I eventually find time between trying to bring up my squat I definitely want to run it myself.

or you could get yourself some bigass washers from fastenal

In for the coan phillipi gains, also in 4 an abundance of acronyms.

More gains. Couldn’t resist measuring.

waking weight - 218.5 -1.5 (this variable should matter the least in this small time frame)
arm - 17.75" +0
thigh - 28.375" +.075
calf - 16.5" +.5
neck - 17.75" +.5
chest - 48" +1
shoulder - 53.5" -.125
waist - 35.5" -.125
forearm - 16" +.675

Going to measure every Monday until I no longer care to. Matter of fact, screw it. Every other week makes more sense.

YEAH BUDDAY!!!

I’ve heard you like acronyms. Have you considered the military? There are literally over 9000.

I actually have given it some thought. I don’t like acronyms though. It’s just an efficient notation system.

I want to get a legit video soon. I don’t what, but I want to be hyoooge.

Week One complete

Deadlift
75% desired max; all beltless
135x3
225x3
315x1
365x1
425x1
475x2
–speed pulls–
380x8x3 (90s rest)

Circuit
Deadstop SLDL 315x3x3
BB Row 135x3x10
UHG Chins 3x15

SUMMATION:
Deceptively tough. It was the rest periods that killed me. My technique is downright bad. Fixing that is a top priority. The fatigue I accumulated made it even worse. Felt crippled after the speed pulls so I modified the assistance work to suit my situation whilst still presenting a challenge. I think I’m going to love/hate this program. Energy was sapped halfway through, so I need more nutrient intake prior to these sessions.

I predict this time next week you will be back to doing your own stuff in the gym without a written program.
