good training–almost forgot that I had been up since 4am and hadn’t eaten.
OMG!!! I boxed squatted. With WEIGHT! And it Didn’t HURT! I have good days and bad. I’m THRILLED with the good days and try not to pout on the bad.

And then Planks…I have to cross my right ankle over because the stretching of the toe KILLS me.
Daily bike hell starting today for 1 month to see what results will be. Trying anything to keep my muskles!
I’m not high stepping or nothing like that…just little baby steps. I think it targets that end range of motion thing, and of course balance. Which, btw, I have almost none in my right leg cause of my damn ankle.
Ink- YEAAAAH BUDDY! I hope to keep it up. I think I should be able to do stuff as long as it doesn’t hurt. I’ll get the ok on that when I go to PT tomorrow.
I’ll get a video next time, ha!
Knees are ok so far. No pain, but some stiffness is setting in.(thats what she said!)
I can already tell that the evening walking that I’d like to do isn’t going to happen as consistently as I’d like. soooo, I think I will do the treadmill walking thing after weight training. I’m already there, so.
I can still go walking in the evenings when I can. Or squeeze in bike intervals in the evening instead?? hmmm I plan on getting a weighted vest, or figuring out a way to make my ‘ruck sack,’ more cozy
Times like these I wish I hadn’t sold my treadmill. But I never used it!
Food today:
1145am- 1 cup plain yogurt
145- curry quinoa+peas
uhhhhhh
6pm- 12 oz cauli
8 oz zucchini
8 oz mushrooms
meatballz
It’s on the inside of my elbow. Mostly when I do any kind of OH movements. Thanks for asking.
I think I got it from carrying around my daughter for three years on my hip. She is one of those types where she would rather lay in the middle of the road until I picked her up.
I wrote my Doc and asked to see an Ortho specialist and to get an MRI of my knees. I, along, with the PTs would be interested to see what the integrity withing the joints themselves are looking like.

I have one of those types of kids too, to tell ya the truth she would probably still be on my hip if she wasn’t bigger than me…
JLO- oh my. ya, I had to break the habit…my poor shoulder and elbow couldn’t take it anymore. She still cons her Dad into carrying her. She loves to be the littlest!
STARVING all the time now. metabolism is kicking in, perhaps.
got a strange craving for bok choy last night…ha ha. Thankfully our small little grocery store on base carries it. Stuff is expensive though!

Oh mimsy, this made me laugh. I love a girl with a “just leave me here to die” attitude. Yeah for being hungry! Metabolism is starting burn. Keep feeding the fire!
Betty, if it’s in the crook of the elbow towards the inside, then it’s the biceps tendon. If it’s slightly to the outside but deeper down, then it’s the brachialis. This is what I have sometimes and it’s a bitch. I get it from pulls - back work, basically - and it hurts more when my arm is straight, holding a weight (eg doing dumbell rows or deadlifts). It does respond to rest, the TENS and massage, however.
If it’s on the actual inner side of the joint, if your hand is supinated, then it’s golfer’s elbow, and that’s a bitch. I also have this a bit and I get it from squatting with a standard barbell because of the way my elbow is torqued from holding it behind my neck.
have you tried foam rolling around the area? i thought i had tricep tendonitis but turned out i had a lot of muscle knots in my triceps. might be worth a go…
MT- I’ve had this annoyance now for a couple years. I just have to be really picky with certain moves
Alexus- no , I haven’t tried foam rolling it. I guess I could? interesting idea, lol. Sounds funny because it’s right on a joint, deep within it feels like. That would be like foam rolling the shit outta of my knees hoping they get better. I wish!!
