Hammies are what’s for dinner

Maschy love! According to my x-ray analysis, if my Dr feels like an MRI is warranted then I can go do it. So I just have to talk to her about it next time I’m in the office…but I’ll have PT before then so maybe they’ll have extra insight and also recommend it.
Its even starting to hurt walking up hills :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: *tear

Dasher- thanks…go HARD or go HOME!

N.- anytime darlin…

I think I spiked my insulin so high and so fast last night, I thought I was going into a coma .But then I slept like crap. go figure. But it was nommy pizza.
about 130pm I still felt I needed to go do something…so I went for a walk. remind me not to do that again in the heat of the day. And I was trying to compensate from last nights free meal(6 pieces of pizza and 1 cup of ice cream!!!) so I fasted til after my walk… knees were aching on the way back. fucker.

The way I took there is an incline equivalent to about 5% on a treadmill. So I was limping for about 10 minutes til it flattened out.

The rest of the day I have spent uploading a couple years worth of pictures to get picked up and FINALLY put into photo albums.

have you tried the cauliflower pizza base thing? i’m kinda curious about it… but don’t really have access to a kitchen. sounds like some people got theirs turning out pretty good. definitely on my one day list. miss pizza a lot.

Owe, sorry to hear about the knees.

I Love Pizza.

MiM, have you ever been tested for Lyme disease? Just how you describe your knee pain has me suspicious.

Oh and HAI!

lyme disease?! nope.
And I’ve never pulled ticks off of me.

I’m still recovering from my pizza flu. Remind me not to do that again…

yay. got the cardio in. Today marks the beginning of the 3 months I’ve give to reach my goal. Slow and steady. SOrt of. More cardio though. -No more crash diets-

Holy first circuit!! Nice work.
How are your knees doing?

I’ve been having knee issues as well… What’s up with that? Have you looked into a wrap or sleeve or anything?

Have you ever had gluten free pizza? I’ve had it a few times (this weekend in fact) and it’s not too bad (the stuff on Saturday was actually good)

You don’t really want an organized program, that’s so overrated  you said you’re giving yourself 3 months to reach your goal but I don’t know what your goal is lol… What’s the Master Plan Mimsy?

http://www.aafp.org/afp/991101ap/2012.html

I’ll just leave ^ that there…
but if I can get an MRI to rule anything else out that would be good.

Greg, that sucks that your having knee issues too. And doesn’t your shoulder bother you sometimes? I’m dealing with that as well…and my elbows are also crinkly and crackly…

I thought lifting was supposed to be good for you…SHEEEESH!!

Dasher- my knees are fine as long as I don’t do anything that puts a lot of forward pressure on them(besides walking!) or jumpy/pounding type movements. which reeeally sucks cause I was really loving the sprinting I was doing…and it would be cool to do such things as jumping rope, burpees, box jumps, etc…

Greg again- The primary goal is and always has been fat loss. I’ve been chasing my tail for a couple years now. I won’t feel satisfied until I get it right. I was on the cusp late fall…but then I think thats when I short circuited my thyroid and hit the frickin wall. I figure even with the thyroid crap I can manage at least 10lbs by NOV…enjoy the holidays(smartly) and then crank it up starting the new year to possibly after all this time be at my final goal?? I know numbers don’t matter but I’ve had a certain one in my head.

And no, I’ve never had GF pizza…what was it made with??
was thinking of making it with a qunioa crust sometime. Buckwheat could work there too.

But nothing beats the real thing, amirite? sigh.

Yay for no more crash diets! fist bump

My thyroid is all wonky too after my last go round. You think I would know better. Getting that shit straightened out will make a huge difference Chica, but be patient as it sometimes takes a while to get it dialed in properly.

Looking strong!

MEATZA!!!

You can use non-grain flour such as potato, coconut etc or a blend. You can also put pizza toppings on omelettes - very yummy.

Mmm, pizza, I say go crazy and experiment. Any excuse to eat more of it. Hope you’re feeling tip top today.

I love that Meatza!!

Lunch today…oh ya!

I love pizza as much as the next person but I don’t eat it all that often. So when I do, I don’t want to think about it…just gimme the pizza!!!
6 pieces was kinda excessive though

Doc- my thyroid thing is an existing condition that I never took care of properly. Although harsh dieting probably did not help. It certainly took care of the excess weight though!
But now I’m just stuck. I feel if I don’t have a goal I’ll keep gaining weight. So even if I don’t reach my intended goal in a few months, it will keep me on track.

MT- I had another poopy night of sleep. boo. My daughter was lurking at 2am… she claimed that she wet her bed, but her bed was completely dry.
kids!!
I didn’t bother going back to my bed to compete for sleep with my husband snoring away…to the couch for me, where I had just as hard a time getting to sleep.

Enough crying. Hitting up the grocery store this morning and gyming it later this afternoon.

No gym today. Totally wiped out. When I’m feeling like this I can make it in the morning when I have the most motivation…but it’s all down hill from there…
I get my labs redone next week and my meds bumped up.

The other girls who are ‘re-comping,’ are keeping track of there food, so I am too. And not just when dieting but keeping track of food, especially if I make it public helps me stay on track,(losing fat or not).
Maintaining is harder than trying to lose lbs in my humble opinion.

Nothing real exciting to report today.

I made the recipe Dasher posted: MEATZA!!!

I had a hefty serving midday and thats been about it. Oh and almonds! I roast my own with cinammon and brown sugar…yum!!

I just made ‘meat pie,’ as well.

~ Ground Venison, mashed potatos and corn.

Cook up the meat, boil/mash the potatos(I leave the skin on) And layer in a backing dish with cheese sprinkled throughout. Bake until cheese is bubbly and melty.

NOM. Usually I add mixed veggies but there were none. technically I’m not supposed to have any, cause the whole carbs at night thing. I had a bite…but honestly I’m not that hungry atm. Fatigue does that.

Sorry to hear you are feeling poopy (very technical medical jargon here). Your meat pie sounds fantastic drool.

Backing up to check out this MEATZA nonsense.

EDIT: ZOMGZ! MEATZA!!! Bookmarked.

Also sorry to hear you’re not having a great time right now. At least you have a good doc this time if you need to change your prescription.
Also the reason I am keeping a food log. That means if I have a Cal Binge, I have to write it down, and the shame would be too much.

If I used being fatigued as an excuse, I would never make it to the gym.

Another crappy nights sleep. fml

Thinkin about skipping labs next week and just asking the doc to up my meds NOW.

yes, try the MEATZA!!!
