Betty Strong

amidoinitrite?

random:

my waistline to my hips got hit really hard with those side lateral leg things I did yesterday…just what a I need.

My upper back/lats got hit suffiently in the right places. I am pleasantly sore. Accpet my front side. I can hardly ever get my pecs to feel sore. At most, maybe the very outer edge… aminotdoinitrite?

And I’m hoping my hammies aren’t as domsical as they were last week. It took 4 solid days til I wasn’t sore from those db rdls.

I’m taking a three month challenge of get hawtness. I want this weight gone already. I’m using the pin up photo shoot as motivation

Of course one day at a time. Considering my hormones are still coo coo. But I’ll get there damnit.

nom on the hammies girl!

5 real pushups!! dammit! :{ but yei for you !

I miss seeing you around Betty

I know you have been busy though. Your legs continue to look great :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe some knee sleeves for those knees? My husband has a bum wheel and I know they help him. A 3 month challenge sounds excellent. Tying a goal to a time frame really helps me.

When is your first thyroid follow up?

Ronda- hey! I been here for 6 years… you mean vids?

Nadia- who knows? That would mean I’d have to wear them 24/7. they are starting to hurt/ache just because. Even if its going to rain, haha… thought that was a myth. I walk backwards down the stairs cause it hurts.
First follow up is in a couple weeks. I feel like I’m ready for the next higher dose. Felt good the first few days but took another nose dive. poop

I think the sleeping gods were playing a mean prank on me last night. Of course I was partying like a rock star and stayed up waaaay past my bedtime and got 1.5 hrs of sleep before the shenanigans started.

Both kids were up all. night. long.
daughter twice in a row(20 minutes a part), Son, then daughter, then Son once more for good measure. Julia thought there was a lion at her window and Coby’s foot was itchy.

Julia NEVER EVER gets out of bed…even when she is sick. So I tend to take her a little more serious. But a lion? Really? I hope this isn’t a new and special phase…

still made it to the gym cause I’m looney like that.

I guess its kind of routine now. Julia LOVES going to the gym to play with her new little friends.

So I picked a body part that hurt least and worked it out.

Chest/tris

shoulder warm ups
2x15 of- ext rot., band pull aparts and btn pop ups

~Floor press
3x15x30s(neutral grip) (1st set was regular and niggled my shoulder) I pressed em from a dead stop.

DB pullover- 3x12x15s,20, 20(don’t really understand this movement but did it anyway) I think I could feel where I was supposed to feel it

Push ups
3/7 3/7 7, 7(3 regular, then 7 to the knees) was tiiiired

Rope pushdown
3x15x30

Face pulls- 3x15x30

1 arm reverse grip pull down- 2x10x20

Tricep kickback(rest hand/knee on inclined bench…good position)
3x12x10s, 12.5, 12.5

5 minutes on bike to get kinks out

FN exhausted

Julia sounds like my kinda girl, well except for the lion part. Can’t you just tie them to their beds and gag 'em? Not every night, but maybe every 3rd night.

I think it worked…trying to found the right amount of volume to feel the pecticles…already feelin it!!
And in the right light…I have a teeny tiny cap to my delts…tiny but there. If only my mound of pudge on top of my triceps weren’t so large. I got nice triceps under there…even when I was scrawny though I had that dangly tricep stuff…

BTW, Ct…awesome song/video combo!!

MT- ha! no gagging. Against the law I think? ya.
Thankfully that was a very very rare occurrence. Kids are generally good sleepers. (Thank cod.)

Post leg day knee pain…it has struck me.

:< :frowning:

Doesn’t make me a happy Betty. It hurt to even stand while in the shower. It feels like I have to keep moving. When I stand or lay my knees just ache and ache. It really sucks.

I don’t think I can have a ‘leg day,’ anymore…will most likely just split everything up. Do mostly hamm/glute work and biking until I get to Physical therapy.

Makes me curious if there is something else going on in there…or if this is just what arthritis feels like.

Have you had the knees checked out?
You could also try cutting out wheat and dairy (I don’t think you eat wheat anyway, do you?) and lectins (from beans nad legumes) to see if the inflammation reduces. Sorry you’re having such a hard time. The lack of sleep can’t be helping.
Maybe get Julia a toy lion (I had a cute stuffed one) to protect her from all the imaginary lions, tigers and bears that are sneaking through the window!

No, I just mean that I haven’t been checking in to see how you are doing. So I miss… seeing you around… on my computer screen :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh cod.
I don’t think there is anything on me that isn’t sore…maybe accept my calves.

Which brings up the point that I mentioned before, I need to organize my training better…any suggestions??

I would like to finally try the ghr…it’s so wobbly though!

Hope those knees cut you some slack. Lots of good training in here!

you don’t like to be organized- as soon as you figure it out it takes 2 weeks before you drop it

highreps/low reps/ complexes
barbell/dumbbell/bodyweight

or my favorite: what ever’s available at the time.

^very true statement. But fwiw I usually have a reason. (sometimes mostly anyway) bite me.

So, I’ll keep doing what I do and maybe it will fall into place.

Just back from the gym. Daughter has come down with a thing so we didn’t go this morning. I went so I can have pizza

And btw Cal…I stay away from wheat/gluten I’d say 90% of the time. But a life without pizza?? faints I save the gluten-y goodness for free meals etc.

HA! This is so true. What kind of Virgo are you, Betty :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So much going on in here! First off, your kids are hilarious! My feet were SO itchy last night and it made me hysterical! So I feel your son’s pain. I have nothing for lions at the window though…that’s just hogwash! lol!

Awesome vids! Nice squatting. Way to hit those squats out for a nice leg pump. Good stuff. Also form looked great and damn beyatch, your legs are looking STELLAR! Girl, you can go on an on, but you’ve got one hot, strong body! Hammies are coming out very nice! Nomnomnom. Cute T-shirt too

And yes, RDLs looked good to me. More importantly, how did they feel to you? When I hit hamstrings, takes 4 days to recover too! Making tiny tears baby, tiny tears.

Ok, this knee sitch is starting to sound pretty terrible. I’m sorry :frowning: Didn’t the doctor say that you might have some degenerative wear on the knees? I have some too, but mine is just slight. Maybe yours is a little more worse for wear? (mommy syndrome as my surgeon called it - i.e. playing on the floor with the kids) I think you’d prob need an MRI to truly understand what’s going on in there, and then plan your training around that. You’d be safer to lay off the sprinting for a while until you know what you can do. Squats might be ok. But you really, REALLY need to warm up your knees. Even before my injury I would get knee pain if I didn’t warm them up properly…(sorry for rant! I’m knee fixated now!)

205 on the DLs! White girl’s got booty! Hey! snaps

Holy leg work! Good job little miss!
