I was trying to be funny about the sweating. I think for so long my metabolism has been out of whack that I never sweated like normal people when they train real hard. I can still feel my hams from Tuesday…I think it was the combo rdl+ single leg DLs I did.

2nd night in a row some firetrucks rolled through at 230am. weird. Only this time my daughter heard it and came in to tell me. After getting her back to bed I had the hardest time falling back to sleep.
And our 50 yr old house has the crappiest insulation. You have to shut all the vents downstairs to get air upstairs, and vice versa.
Not wanting to feel lazy I went out for a walk. Despite the excessive heat. I’m on of those people.
I grew up in a desert. When the houses used to be far apart. I would ride my bikes for hours in the Summer sun. Or go hunting for dinosaur bones ![]()

Tackling the spare room does not sound like a lazy day! Sitting on the couch eating bon bons and watching bad lifetime movies sounds like a lazy day.
I hear you about the kids. Cleaning is futile. At the end of every week my house looks like it has been ransacked. And then when I do clean, I spend the next few hours bitching at them to put this that or the other thing away. My mother used to say, and boy was she ever right, “I can have a clean house or happy kids, but never both at the same time.”
Spare rooms have a way of accumulating junk. I only have one living/bed room but I have a cupboard across the hall which is full of crap. I’m afraid to open it in case there’s an avalanche.
