Awesome,no headaches.

Nice wheels too

You big she hulk lookin…lol

Fantastic legs! And the fact you’re feeling better already is awesome. I hope it continues to improve for you.

OMG! Your legs are fantastic!

You’re doing a great job in the gym and its totally showing

YAY on feeling better, MiM! This makes me very happy!

thumbs up for no headaches

you’re legs look great! Hot mamacita! AyyyyyOhhhhhhhH!

How do you think that your training is coming? I read a great article today about a “minimalistic” training program that was very interesting. I’m thinking of getting my sister in law to try it out. I dont know if you like reading up about things like this but if so hit me up with a PM and I’ll send you the link.

^^
thats just a thought. not trying to imply that your training method isnt good or anything like that. <3

Glad to hear that things are going good for you MiM. Keep on kicking booty

First off about concert prices, I can’t get over how expensive it’s become. I’m with ya.

And I can’t imagine waking up with a headache every day. Mims, I’m glad things are going better! YAY for getting your medical stuff under control. That’s just key to so many things.

And that is one pretty set of gams up there! Your legs go all the way up. All the long red/ strawberry hair plus long legs. So pretty.

Nice quad sweep! And nice length on them gams!

The new meds in and of themselves are probably working but a good caring doctor never hurts either. Just eliminating the stress of that wacko nurse you were seeing probably helps too.

Other exciting news…

I get to go to a REAL physical therapy place. Not saying that the people on base aren’t real, but I thought it was pretty cool that I got referred to go out in town without even asking.

And its at the place I was interviewed at twice before. Maybe it’s a sign…fall semester is coming up and I need to decide if I should sign up for Anatomy classes again. I took em over 5 years ago :frowning: :frowning:

I heard they were a joke online(easy)

I think PTA would be a good fit as far as job characteristics are concerned. And I would get to meet a lot of cool people and help them on there way back to awesomeness.
I would kick myself really hard if I didn’t at least apply to the program.

rambling away here.

I went to the gym AGAIN… wasn’t planning on it but kids were bored and they like going to the gym!
I need some kind of 4-5 day split at this rate.

The cool part? For the first time IN YEARS I went without any caffiene. Unleaded. No pills, potions or energy drinks.
The sweat was from my own work.

Bench press-(testing shoulder…felt fine)
4x12x75

Inverted rows
4x8

single leg leg press
4x8x115

super-mans(1 leg at a time)

rode bike/walked treadmill(total 15 min)

Not much but it was cool…Tomorrow is DL and my hams are still barking and hips are still hurty from the windmills.

1 more piece of news…the thingy that I thought is a Ghr machine, IS Saw someone using it. WAHOO! Now I just have to figure it out without falling on my head.

Ok, I lied. One more thing!!!

Everything I’ve been reading regarding how hypothyroid people lose weight all point to low carb. The slower metabolism can not process incoming white stuff and a lot of fruits. And I don’t do grains accept I really love white rice and potato :frowning:

But I’m wondering how that relates to hypo people that also lift that want to see muskles.
All of a sudden I don’t know what/when to eat stuff. I’ve lost weight before I knew/thought I was sick by eating mostly meats, green things and fat.

I have a lofty goal of shedding these pounds by the end of the year. I’ve said that the last couple of years and I don’t want to fail.

just agreeing with Hallowed - at high incline drop the speed until you can handle it.

wheels lookin good girl!

Mim: So much positive energy in here. I’m so glad you are feeling good, looking good, and kicking ass in the gym!

your legs look awesome

lots of good work in here , glad your headaches is gone
they suck ass

Re: food, go Paleo/primal. You pretty much were anyway. I like rice and potatoes too but soon as I start eating them regularly I get fatter. I actually gained weight training for my half marathon because I was eating carbs to fuel my runs. (So I’m with you on the weight loss - I’ve decided August I’m going all out).

Good news about the caffeine free workout!

well good…we can be primal buddies.

I will also start adding in intervals/cardio after each training sessions+ going on walks in the evening…

(increasing walking distance over time)

Alrighty then.

feelin beat up. Knees and shoulders are crepity and elbows are aching. Until I get myself sorted I’ll go back to 3 training sessions a week + body weight stuff on ‘off days.’
Thinkin back I was looking/feeling my leanest training this way.

Today–
attempted to ‘foam,’ roll at home…hammies are STILL sore from when was that? Tuesday.

warm ups- ball roll outs, shoulders, glutes

Good morning
kb squats

side/rear lat raises
2x20

Single leg ext(foot turned out)
4x10

hypers
2x20

Incline db tris/bis

walked @15%- 6min
biked level 7- 5 min(to get the crinkles out)

was doing that weird sweating thing again…first appointment for PT isn’t until AUG 9th…will try and not fall apart until then

Oh man, I wonder what’s going to happen to my body with all the extra carbs I’m eating…hm…

So much awesome in here MiMsy! Tons of positive vibes! Keep it up the momentum. <3 ya!

~If you eat bread you won’t be bred

<3 ya too!

So happy to read all the positive stuff in here! Sounds like you’re getting back on track! Still got great legs!

legs=sexiness. I support your weight loss goal, but don’t forget you look great now!!

Foam rolling with DOMS is not fun. My legs and arse are so sore from two days ago that I have trouble walking down stairs!
Hope you get that sweating thing sorted, though it could be diet, maybe?
