Hubby found a camping spot after all. Kinda stressful last minute type thing but he really wanted to go. I think he was more excited about buying camping stuff
I went on a walk just to get some blood flowing and to not feel so guilty about the ginormous bowl of rice and chickpeas on the menu in a bit
I’m sitting enjoying a quiet morning. Hubby might stay an extra day/night over there. But he’s going to come back to get me so we can go boating. He took the explorer and I’m too chicken to drive the Jeep across the bridge, lol.

OH okay, well you got one. And…don’t be a chicken, just drive really fast, get it over quick.
But we had an ok time. I was nervous going out on the water like that. I’m more of an inlet/calm river kind of person. Not a huge open bay with other motorboats and big waves kind of person.
We came back home then went to another friends cook out.
Yesterday hubby went to go play with the boys; paintballing. Managed to fuck up his knee pretty good. He thinks he may have tore something.
I’ve dug out all my thyroid books and I’m convinced that my poor thyroid is sick which is causing all my other issues. Turns out anxiety/anger/depression are all common symptoms of low thyroid.
The trick now is going to be in finding the right DR/practitioner with enough experience and patience in testing and finding the right balance of meds/supps. And one that is on the list for insurance purposes.
I might start taking some stuff while I wait cause I’ve read it helps. the list is long but I have a few of the things already!
VIT D(got it)
St johns Wart
5-HTP
Co enz q-10
Amino Acids(got it)
Multi (got it)
I’ve also been reading that it’s best to stick to a fiber based/low cal diet with less meat and dairy. More fruit, beans and nuts And to avoid veggies from the brassica family. And if you do eat them, cook them very well and eat very little. WHAAAT???
What is there left to eat??
lol
It says to avoid those veggies if the problem is severe but if it’s only mild I’d just get rid of the refined flours and whatnot and see what happens.
Incidentally, my mood improved a lot since supplementing with Vit D. I used to get mild SAD but that no longer happens with the D supplementation. I take 5000iu a day in winter, but now it’s summer and I’m outdoors a lot, I just take it a couple of times a week.
