I’m looking for a way to stretch the lats effectively and easy on the lower back. I’m a fan of grabbing a post and leaning back but tight hips can make this a problem for me and others.
Basically I’m looking for a good lat stretch while sparing the lower back.

Maybe you should loosen up your hips. I like the stretch where you kneel on the floor, then lean back so your butt touches your ankles, then roll your arms forward on the floor. You can go side to side with your arms to increase the stretch to each side. Hope that was a clear explanation.
What crusher said is what I usually do, hanging from a bar. I feel the closer my grip the more I feel it. This one I also feel a lot, but I feel it’s primarily a oblique stretch.
