lol either they greased the bar or the plates are fake
agreed 110%!!!
seeing as how guys that rep these weights are usually Olympia big, and this guy doesn’t even look like he could squat or pull that weight, I call bs.
this is not exact.
size depends more from reps range than own 1RM; pls look at Vladimir Volkov ( IPF’s 220 and 242 class World Record holder ),He isn’t excactly “Olympia” size…FUCKING strong ,NOT fucking big…

Compare the two videos. You can see this RECORD HOLDER having help unracking the bar and his arms shaking and the bar swaying as he attempts to stabalize. None of that in the first video.
that was…cute.

This. I can believe most everything else, but to move 230kg of weight back and forth with almost no effort is fake, unless they recently greased up the bench/bar for some reaseon.
if you re-read my reply I have already agreed on fake thing,I sent VOLKOV video just because I dont agree with the statement that just Olympia sized guys can have a big bench, this is not true,as Louie Simmons said many times PL make you stronger not (necessarilly) larger…my former tail-back benched 310lb @154BW,it’s twice his bodyweight, not 20inch guns on him just raw strenght.
IMO its either those bigger plates are actually 10kgs and that’s why he can handle the weight with relative ease
I really doubt the dude on the smith machine benching would be using fake plates

you should read into my post more.
I clearly said “rep these weights”. that means multiple reps, not one rep. size isn’t needed to lift big weights once, this is true. but size is absolutely needed to rep a big weight out multiple times.

true,my bad.
Its obviously fake, at 1:49 the guy slides the bar around in the rack with ease, and the spotter pulls the plates off 3 at a time like its nothing lol.
As if the guys size wasnt initially a dead give away.
Ha! Watch the spotter rush to the other side of the bar to unload it as the guy in the background intends to come help him. Obviously, the spotter didn’t want that guy to spot the fakery. Hahaha!!

Lol good eye
Fake.
That music is fucking obnoxious.
its believable when you see him irl, big boy with a thick chest.
same guy struggling with 160kg hmmm same gym different plates hmm video uploaded this month
to think i was fooled!
I think there is an affiliation with this Zyzz guy, he was a fitness model that died recently. I remember watching somewhere, but don’t fitness models use fake plates sometimes during photo shoots? That could explain why the gym would have fake plates.
Instead of continuing to read this thread, I propose an alternative.
Listen to and read this tale of woe.

I enjoyed that.
erm i think ya’ll need to give the guy a break, yea it looks like he faked 230…but he did get 4-5 reps with 160 and can probabaly max out a 405 single.
how many people can bench 405 for a single ?
reminds me of Andy Haman faked 600x4. yea its fake . but this guy can put up 500 for a double. he’s still strong as fuck.

It’s absurdly fake. No bar bend and the ease the spotter takes off 3 plates at a time. The whole movement pattern looks so fake to anyone with experience.
Just out of curiousity how did you arrive at the conclusion that it was 230, and how did you correlate his 405 max. Either way I know many people who rep with 230 and can’t get anywhre near 405. Just saying.
