Below Bellybutton Fat!

The area just below my belly button is extremely hard to flatten/decrease fat. I have seen som photos of T-Nation members with completely flat areas beneath their belly button. Is this a hormonal imbalance etc.? It consistently looks like a small pooch belly beneath the belly button. Any advice guys?

digriz

Yeah, I always seem to have like 3-5 times more fat there than anywhere else so even when I’m getting quite slim with a 29" waist that whole area from the navel down area is sagging there.

It really annoys me.

Is that the only place your fat? It’s probably the last place your fat is stored?

Have you lost a lot of fat recently? If so how much?

Work on core exercises, ab cunches, leg lift etc. Losing weight will trim fat, but you still need to exercise that area to “tighten” up and faltten out.

I tend to have the same problem. Even when I get my bf into the single digits I still have that below the bellybotton pouch. The only thing that helped a bit was doing vacuums. But still it was not a 100% cure.

Sounds like a question for the experts.

I have that as well, and, having cut for a long time, even to the point of doing the fat fast, and I’ve become convinced mine at least(and possably yours) is skin.

That is why I was asking about fat loss. To determine if it was skin or just genetics.
