BBB: Heavy Loaded Carries Instead of Ab Exercises?

Would it be okay to substitute the ab excercises on lower body days in BBB with loaded carries?

My gym doesn’t have a prowler or something so I thought loading up a trap bar and walking the gym up and down would be a cool thing to increase grip strength, hit the abs and get some conditioning work.

It’s not enough AB work, but it’s definately a very very good thing to incorporate loaded caries for so many reasons.

I guess this isn’t a problem, as farmers walk is included in the single leg/core assistance category in the Forever book.

Jim has stated repeatedly that if you want to use farmer’s walks or something similar, you should treat them like a strength exercise and not conditioning. He’s straight up said that using them for conditioning is a terrible idea.
