Loaded Carries vs Prowler?

Hey. Would loaded carries be a reasonable substitute for prowler conditioning work? I have no access to a prowler at my gym, and I do want some sort of conditioning which compliments power work.

I’m currently doing two 30min LISS conditioning sessions a week, usually weighted vest walks, but I seem to be losing a bit of explosiveness the more low intensity stuff I do. I used to do one LiSS, and one higher intensity session like hill sprints. It worked well enough, but my recovery was a little off. I’m looking for a compromise between too little intensity and too little recovery now. I think loaded carries might be the answer, potentially. My goals are strength and power for competitive powerlifting, and I want my cardio sessions to give me a reasonable base of conditioning, and to help with keeping body fat reasonably low. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Loaded carries are great but nothing like getting your ass kicked by the Prowler. There’s really nothing like it. I’ve tried all kind of makeshift sleds and wanna be Prowlers and they all had their place I suppose; but again, nothing works like a real Prowler. My 2¢, buy one ASAP. You’ll be glad you did.
