Ya he does them with a cambered bar but eye’m poor so regular barbell works. I never got too strong on shrugs but never got large traps either so I figured it was worth a shot and so far it’s went well.[/quote]

You can’t beat the basics, man. I do all my lifts standing (shrugs included) simply because I’ll have to use more muscle to support the weight which means more muscle being stimulated to grow.
