Back Injury

I have been having problems with my back for about eight months now. Come to find out I have a broken vertebra. It’s not the main part but the pieces that connect it to the vertebra below it. The doctor said the best way to stop the pain would be to fuse the two vertebre together. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this done. If so, how did it affect your range of motion and ability to do certain exercises? It’s in my lower back by the way.

My father-in-law had this done. He went from being a grumpy asshole to a hunch-backed, grumpy asshole.

OD

You want to avoid fusion if at all possible since it will effect the discs above and below the fusion. I believe Louie Simmons had a similar injury so maybe contacting him would be a good idea.
