Just had arthroscopic surgery and an arthrotomy (hammer and chisel) to remove some chips from my elbow today. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar surgery and how long it took you to recover. Doctor said I’ll be able to play football this fall but could be 4-6 months until I’m doing heavy lifting, I thought that sounded excessive.

I had artho on my throwing shoulder. Play ball 4 months later but didn’t bench press for over a year.
