Arm Pain on Overhead Work

I’ve been experiencing a strange sensation in my upper arm when over head pressing. It happens in the first third of the movement on dumbbell presses etc. and feels like a vice like pain running along the outside of my upper arm from just above my elbow to halway up the upper arm, that disappears once my elbow hits 90 and then reappears on the way down again.

Any ideas what it might be? It’s been hindering my lifting for the last couple of weeks to the point where I just think sod it and stop lifting.

So it hurts above 90% or below?

I would get it checked out by a doctor, or at least cut down on the overhead pressing.

It sound like its above 90% which sound like triceps. Probably tendonitis or something similar.
