Elbow Pain

Hi guys

I’ve just started a grappling class a few weeks ago and have injured my left arm. The pain is right where the biceps inserts into the elbow - that little crook that emerges when you bend your arm, and feels deep as if it could be a tendon or something. I’ve no problems with it on a day-to-day basis, but weight-training is almost impossible.

Any time my arm is loaded in the bent position (eg bottom of a bench press / shoulder press or top part of a pull up) the pain flares up big time and takes a day or so to calm down, after which it is fine again. Can still squat and deadlift no problem but any upper body pushing / pulling is a no go. Does this sound like a form of tendonitis?? Or something else??

No it’s hard to advise on such little info but any input would be greatly appreciated
