Has anyone tried Magnificent Mobility by Eric Cressey? I haven’t been really focusing on flexability or movement, but I feel it is a must. Any ideas? If not this then any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Use the search feature for “Magnificent Mobility”; there are lots of people who will swear by it, including me. It’s made a huge difference for me in my quality of life and lifting, including making it possible to have added over 100#s to my squat in the last year (now 635) and a similar amount to my deadlift.
And it makes me breakfast in the morning and rocks me to sleep at night. Ok, no breakfast or lullabies yet, but seriously worth the investment.

As the poster above said…just do a search and you will find plenty of info. After reading alot of the reviews from T-Nation members I finally made the purchase a while ago. It’s one of the best purchases I have made and all of my workouts now start out with exercises I picked out from the DVD.
If you are inflexible, have chronic injuries, or don’t know how to warm-up properly then this is a great DVD to have to guide you on the right path. It is certainly worth the price.
How long does it take to complete a warmup? Do you simplify it for time or isolate it for the muscle groups you’re going to work?

Well I’m not exactly sure if that question is directed towards me or towards people who already use the DVD…
as for me. I just stretch my hams and quads whenever i feel the need to and rarely after i work them out (which is a big problem from what I read) so that is why I ordered a copy of the DVD just 1 hour ago… along with under the bar. I’m very… veryyyy excited

Ten minutes or so; more if you need/want it.
I do a set of standard movements every lifting day and also some specialized to groups I’m going to work. Make it fit your needs.
MM is pretty sweet. You could do all of the exercises in the DVD for a full mobility workout if you really need to work on that, or (as they suggest in the DVD), take 8-10 exercises and use them as a warmup. They are seperated into easy, medium and difficult exercises.
DEFINITELY worth the investment, especially if you are a competitive athlete of any sort and are going to be subjecting your body to a lot of training and competition stress.
Love the dvd for the information and demonstration, and its well worth the $$$
Cheers… ill make the investment.
