Which author on T-Nation would be the most/helpful knowledgeable about strengthing ankle ligaments after a ankle injury to help make them almost bulletproof.
Boy any prob have great ideas but you might try E. Cressey or Mike Roberetson they seem to be the resident injury prevention and rehab experts.
Ill add one thing that helped me bullet proof my ankles way back in the day during football was my coach had several of us walk on the sides of our feet (foot twisted until we could flat out walk all day if needed on the sides of our shoes.
It worked havent had a problem in the wow going on 15 years since. have to progress slow but it goes pretty quick really I can still to this day walk on the sides of my feet with out ever doing it on a regular basis.

Hi,
There are a few exercises you can start with.
-
Get a towel, sit down and extend your legs with your toes pointing skyward. Put the centre of the towel around the sole of your injured foot and then hold the two ends at the respective side of your body. Pull and hold and repeat.
-
If you have a wobble board, simply go clockwise and and anti-clockwise on that, with your feet seperated.
I’m sure there are many more methods. If you are serious in getting it fixed, one appointment with a physio would probably give you enough to be able to continue at home without further expense.
Good luck with the recovery,
-Cloth
