5x5 is abbreviated for you- nice work!!

Should you be training if you’re that sick? Although sometimes just moving the blood is good all around. Hope you are doing better!

Hey Snap: My SO said the same thing! Dear Daughter asked me to take it easy.

Hope your year will be a good one.

Good progress on the Daughter front, just hope she can stand the abuse long enough… They’ve really ratcheted up the unpleasantness on her.

PS.
Gym was PACKED with resolutioners. They stunk, mostly couldn’t get past the old stale post lung smoke… GASP, GASP, GASP… Gotta wonder what year it was when that smoke entered their lungs? Has it been sitting in the bottom of the lungs for a day/month/year waiting for a forced deep breath? Certainly wasn’t just today…

Did give a new guy some unasked advice about not rolling the shoulders while doing shrugs to avoid injury… He took it well.

se3riously under the weather, 3 serious issues from Doctor’s visit… cardiologist tomorrow, cat scan Monday, follow up Wednesday.

So sorry to hear this! What is up?

A trainer friends of mine tells me the New Year’s Resolutioners are getting more determined every year. They don’t clear out now until March!

And what’s with the doc visit?

You doing okay?

Hey guys, so far so good.

Cardiologist: Well blood pressure’s up, Hemocrit is way high. So Doc wanted heart imaged, it’s fine. So put me on blood pressure medicine and I have to give blood every 6-8 weeks… Root cause i s likely TRT. So not bad, really as I should be giving blood as I’m O neg.

Cat scan: left lung is not filling up right. So doctor’s concerned it could be a “mass” under diaphragm… But I’ve had a lot of injuries. 4 broken ribs on that side, (2 in front, 2 in back) so that’s most likely it. I do wonder if lung was punctured when I broke the 2 in the rear, this should tell me. Or could be an obsr5tuction of some sort. Should know today or Wednesday.

But will miss a lift on Monday…

hang in there dude, hopefully you will continue to get get news.

Cat scan was best possible news: Lung re-infalated so all is well…

Lift:
Absolutely packed. Parking lot, cardio place, and well every where…

2 Jersey shore type guys kept walking all too near the bar path… to get dumb bells to take the the squat rack.

DL
3x5x315 (had to reset grip on last set and tell one of the Jersey shore guys that it is not unprecedented that they fall sideways…

3x3x415 (had to reset every set)… F!

Huge dude asked me if I had used the thick bar before! DOOF!!! so all weights above add 10…

Ahhh, good to be back. Can’t wait until the resolutionists get back on the couch!

p.s.
Daughter’s endoscope went really well. Waiting on biopsies…

Ahhh…resolutionists. I give them props for trying. Too bad most of them don’t really get it. LIke most things in life, it works out to 1 in 10 that actually stick with it. But, at least it keeps my gym in business!

Resolutionists:
I’ve seen A LOT of them using a trainer this year.
I’ve also noticed more not WAY over doing it… Though Trainers seem to push maybe too hard. But at least I’ve not seen anyone racking 2x + body weight like last year.
