Well today is the last day of training with my thumb up my ass, doing a deload.Ill be hitting my second cycle of 5/3/1.This time around im putting Cleans back in the program.Ive found that my deads feed off of them.
More so then doing speed deads when i was using a westside template.Along with them im adding chins back in again.(fat man pulling). Also im going to start getting back doing weighted dips.Im pretty happy with the last cycle since i was able to keep the ego under control and not go balls to the walls every time.[/quote]
How many lbs do you get from training with your thumb up your ass? Is that considered RAW?
I’m with you on cleans. I’m thinking of adding them back into my stuff too now that I don’t have a meet for a bit. There’s something that’s very satisfying about the speed and dynamism of the lift.

Not alot of Lbs. the “thumb up my ass program” is very simple program it works with Raw and Geared Lifters. It is a modified version of a older training program I was doing.“My head up my ass training program”. Now about the Cleans.Yeah I know a lot of lifters arent big on cleans for one reason or another.I mean I have a love hate relationship with them.Because I SUCK AT THEM!!!Never the less they do tend to help me develope more power on them then doing speed deads.
Just for the record. The two pics I have put up the past few days are of my now 12 year old. They where taken early on this year.Ok im going to brag on him now.Hes a straight A. student. On top of that hes one hell of a young wrestler. Are Jr.High is made up of 6,7,8 graders. He started and Lettered as a 6th grader and set a few school records. He also in his first year of freestyle wrestling placed 3rd in his age and weight class and qualified for the United States wrestling Assosiation national championship.Needless to say it keeps me motivated to keep lifting so when he gets older he wont be able to kick my ass.
Great stuff, bulldog. Sounds like your son is well rounded and an achiever. Here’s to him keeping that attitude. Your lifting will, undoubtedly, help keep him motivated when distractions arise.
Now that looks like a gym. That’s a place for “business”! I like the DB rack too My DBs just line the wall, on the floor.
my abs looked like that when I was 12… why must you make me compete witha 12 year old on the pics I mean I know Im not over 35 but I am 34… that should be close enough
