Abused Bulldog: Just a grumpy SOB

It doesn’t seem like it would work but it does. That’s a big part of what any sport is about; learning from the experts and then tweaking it to fit you.

Do you ever pull off wooden boxes? I inherited some boxes from one of the guys on this site and find them much nicer to pull from then metal pins. When you pull off metal, the bar is completely dead but pulling off wood is more like the floor, there is some ‘give’ to it.

Heres a pic of the stance that I was using. This was before I started messing with form. This semi-sumo style. Worked alright. But it forced my hips to work harder and I was using a lot of hammies.

Heres what im using now while wearing the Inzer shoes. It feels more natural for me.

I agree. sometimes things works others dont. But the only way you can know is to try it out for yourself .For example “Box Squats” It was great to use to relearn form. But shit, for me to build a raw squat.

using box pulls has crossed my mind.Ive seen video of Andy Bolton doing them with mega -weight.But im too lazy to bulid another box:)

Good lookin deads. And vegetables never hurt anyone. Maybe a bit more cardio and you could eant more fun stuff. [/quote]
Thanks about the deads. dont get me wrong I do eat my veggies. But I do enjoy my junk carbs.
Your right about the cardio.I need to at least get back on the prowler or do some jump rope.Or some type of GPP.

som when you going to drop that axle and see what you can do… you just planning on 5/3/1 till the meet or do you have something special planned
