I smoked weed, but that isn’t what I was addicted to. I can’t even call that an addiction really, I mean the only side effects I got from dropping that was insomnia and that lasted only a week?
The drugs I were using were ecstasy, cocaine (nonfreebase and freebase), heroin, and a variety of psychadelics. I was only actually addicted to ecstasy and heroin, but I did use the others more than I should have.
At the end of the summer I was busted at a crackhouse in Detroit (god bless that city), and my parents did end up finding out. My advice to all of you is to not go to crackhouses in Detroit at 3 in the morning, but I am sure that is common sense to you all.
I used to sell a lot of drugs and there weren’t a lot of people willing to go to Detroit as much as me, so I made a lot of cash until I got busted. Fortunately nothing was ever put on my record, but I did lose my parents trust and still haven’t gained it back yet.

See, here is where I think you went wrong. Had you just come out and been honest I don’t think you would’ve gotten flamed as hard as you did. Personally I have to give you a lot of credit for getting off drugs. That’s definetely not an easy thing to do. So, give yourself a pat on the back for that.
It also helps put into perspective why you were proud of your physique. But, see without that background knowledge we had no way of knowing where you were coming from. As a result people thought that you were just some foolish young kid who thought they were big.
Also, I’ve gotta agree with Panik that had you posted the picture on the Beginners forum, then you may have also avoided some of the flaming that you have received.
As for your original post. Ok, first there is no such thing as toning. Even mentioning the term suggests a total lack of exercise knowledge and will get you flamed mercilessly. Erase that word from your vocabulary, for your own sake.
Second, if you want to gain muscle, then doing things like “running”, which I assume to mean jogging, is one of the worst things that you can do. Look at marathon runners. Is that what you want to look like? If you are going to run, then do things like sprinting (resisted, assisted, etc…). Look at the difference in the physiques between an olympic sprinter and a marathon runner. Same exact exercise, but done two completely different ways. And also producing two completely different results.
As far as diet goes, that is honestly where I think you need to focus right now. You need to go on a diet. But, not a “diet” like many people think of, which is limiting the amount of food you eat in order to lose weight. I mean a diet which is designed to put weight on you. There are several good ones on this site (Berardi alone has a bunch to choose from). But something as simple as the “see food” diet would probably work for you at this point. In other words, if you see food…eat it!
As for routines, there are a lot of good ones on this site. But, I’d probably suggest that you try one that is designed for beginners. Generally, not always but generally, the authors will tell you if the routine is designed for advanced trainees. So, make sure you don’t pick one of those.
Eat big, lift big, stay consistent and then post some pics when you have made sizeable gains.

thanks guys, I think I can definately learn to loosen up a bit since I’m going to stick around here.
I never got addicted to coke ,or even care about the effect on me. I just like the way it smells.
