A Request of my fellow T-folk

She’s in my prayers.

Im away from the forum on weekends and usually am not one to pray but even after two days away from the forum on sunday night (last night my time) there was no way I was forgetting you guys - good luck :).

OK guys…it is 11:00 here. 12 hours to go to the operation. I of course will not be on the board until tomorrow night, but I promise to let you all know how it works out!! Again, both she and I thank you more than you know!!

best wishes, mrs whopper

best of luck…i will pray for her swift and complete recovery, and a happy long life for the both of you.
jonah.

I wish everything goes well for you two. Good luck.

Hang tough Whopper! You’ll be in my prayers!

whopper,
i wish the best of luck to Vixen and you. both of you stay strong and you’ll pull through it. keep us updated, T-brother.

Whopper, my prayers are with you and, especially, Germaine. I’ve posted a few messages on this board, but mainly “lurk” – especially enjoy the SB thread. I’m a fat SB, trying to get it all together, and really like how you give Timbo a hard time with all the talk of “serving him up” over a plate of brown rice! Hah! You kill me! Anyway, just know that I will be thinking of you both during the day, and will make petition for the Vixen’s successful surgery and speedy recovery. God Truly Bless You Both!

Whopper, by the time you read this, the operation will be completed. I am also away from the forum on weekends, and only saw the thread this morning (8:00 west coast time). My prayers are with you (for comfort and strength), the Vixen (for courage and speedy healing) and your physicians/surgeons (for wisdom and steady hands). Something I’ve been counselled on about worrying: 90% of what we worry about doesn’t happen, and the other 10% we can’t do anything about, so there’s really nothing worth worrying about. Easier said than done, I know. Character (and the strength of relationships) is developed in the valleys, and revealed on the mountaintops. This is an opportunity to develop character. Germaine - Godspeed in your recovery.

Good Luck!

I understand what you are going through,my daughter had the same surgery done in Phila. almost 12 years ago. If it’s any consulation, she’s married now and is going to have her first child in Sept. She’s doing fine.
Our thoughts are with you.

All my good goes out to you and yours. All will be exactly as it is supposed to be. Peace bro let us know whatup.

Whopper, she must be a tough lady to hang with you in the first place. I’ll bet she comes through this without a hitch. With all these good thoughts directed your way, you can’t go wrong. Peace and warm thoughts to both of you.

Best of luck Whopper and I am sure that everything will workout fine for her.

Whopper,
As HYpnz already posted Psalm 103 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,” remember this is a promise from the Lord! He heals ALL your diseases - not some but all!! Praise God! Stand firm on this verse and you and the misses will come thru just fine. I will remember you both in my prayers! - Matt

OK all…here is the update. After her being late for her own surgery (she will be late to her own funeral) we got her in the OR at around 7 AM. Eight and a half hours later, they told me everything went well. She will be in ICU for the next 3 to 4 days to stabilize. Hopefully she will be awake enough to talk to me by tomorrow morning. So as of now it all looks good…hopefully there will be no infection issues…I was told that is the biggest concern. Again I want to thank every one of you for your thoughts and prayers, that is one think that makes this forum so special…is that we all stick together!! I will keep you all updated on her progress…I was thinking…we all think we work hard under the iron, but I think her rehab is gonna put most of us to shame…from what I saw of other people rehabing (while I was waiting for her to come out of surgery) that stuff ain’t easy!!

OK..gotta go be Mr. Mom now and make dinner, pack my daughters lunch, do the laundry, check her homework, and clean the house. Damn..gonna be one totally domesticated T-man by the time this is all over with..it should be interesting to see if it is catabolic or anabolic to combine doing all the housework with having no sex for the next 4 months!! Please! Send care packages of Tribex!!! LOL!

Mr. Mom…I mean my main man Whopper…pleased as punch to hear things went well. Believe me, we’re all happy to support the Vixen and you and your daughter thru this…our thoughts and prayers were with you all weekend and all day today and will continue throughout the recovery period. As much as you appreciate our thoughts, we appreciate the update!

I’m very happy to hear that someone has been listening
to our prayers!(It helps strengthen my own faith.)

Whopper, I’m glad to hear things went well. Pray that there are no infections. And I believe you about rehab. She’ll be the ultimate T-vixen when she gets through with that! Shit, if she can have a baby and have a major back surgery, she deserves some Tribex too! As for playing Mr. Mom, it’s no big deal my man. I am quite domesticated myself. From cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc, I can do it all. In fact, a few girlfriends had it made when I was cooking dinner every night! I’ll make someone a fine wife…er…I mean, husband some day! LOL!
