I wanted to let anyone that cares know, My mother has been diagnosed with luekemia. the world sucks pretty bad right now, but some of you are like extended family to me so I thought it apropriate to share. I’ll be on hiatus here most likley, this is still so fresh that I’m not even sure how I am going to be effected by it.
My father is not doing so well with it, and I am very close to him, so I’m feeling a lot of his pain right now. I guess for now my sanity point will be to stay as strong as I can for him, so he can be strong for her. Fucking crying just typing this out.
Anyways, I’ll try to keep some medical updates going here if anyone is interested. If it feels like its helping, if not, I might just be gone for awhile.

Know the feeling - whilst the best wishes can only go so far, if you’ve got good friends and family around you, it’ll help.
Hey man, I know what you’re going through to some extent. Just keep your head up and be strong for her, that’s all you can do.
Love her, take care of her, talk to her… just be there for her. That’s all you can do man.
I’ll be prayin’ for her.
I’m sorry to hear that man! Best wishes to your Mom and her fight and to your family. Stay strong and rely on your family as your support system. I’m sure you know all the stats and info on Leukemia already, but more and more people are surviving this disease as was not the case in the past.
Try to surround your mom with positive energy and a lot of hope. This is the beginning of a fight, not the end of a life, remember that. Staying around positive energy will really help… Good luck buddy.
Vegita, very sorry to hear the news You make us laugh so it’s sad to hear this, hope things get better with your mom and you feel better too. My mum suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage last May and it scared everything in us, stay strong and you’ll see this one through. She pulled through.
Just remember, it is not a death sentence anymore! I know what u’re going through and the important thing is for you to keep going. Your mom isn’t helped by any weakness from you, even though you can feel gutted at times.
My boy has battled bone cancer since he was 14. He is now 18 and (touch wood) has been in remission for a year. Leukemia has better odds than that.
Sad news bud. Stay strong. Keep your Dad busy if you can. Dropping ready made meals off at home helps a ton. After what my Mother went through last winter I have a new appreciation for folks that work in hospitals.
