A Completely Random Thread of Randomness

Taxidermy is on both lists. That’s why I want to know what the scale is. An attractive hobby still has an unattractiveness score, it’s just low. But we don’t know from that graph what low is.

It’s not that deep. Some women find that gross; some women appreciate a guy with a hobby that’s different.

Wow Dani I didn’t know you made that list and totally didn’t just share it on this thread cause it’s a thread for random stuff.

Perhaps, but that’s precisely why the list on its own lacks information. We don’t really know if this is quantifying the level of unattractiveness or the percentage of women that find something unattractive. Something that is mildly unattractive might mean that all women find it mildly unattractive or that 60% of women find it absolutely repulsive and 40% of women find it to be off the charts hot.

I can make up some numbers if that would make you feel better.

Guys do it all the time.

Why are you being so snarky about it? All I’m saying is that it’s a bunch of made up numbers. Why do you think more made up numbers solves that?

Actually, seventy eight percent of women find men who argue about what women find attractive to be be more unattractive than simply agreeing with her nearly sixty percent of the time.

Why are you overthinking something so obviously silly and subjective?

Thank you! I feel seen.

You aren’t alone in that.

Much to the dismay of many puzzled posters who wanted to know how to “pick up women” I always suggested fly fishing. Argument would ensue, stomping off would occur. None of which affected me at all.

No magic words, no super secret seduction methods. :man_shrugging:t2:.

Cuz it worked!

Yeah it is.

I would assume with all the bugs you’re known for flys would get hit in freshwater too.

The problem is, it’s too freakin hot. I know they go fly fishing in the Gulf side (I am on Atlantic side) for bonefish and that looks like a blast. I want to charter a boat to go do that but I should probably learn how to cast first.

Looks great Sky.

Ain’t that the truth, but I know people who make trips down there in shoulder season when it’s much more tolerable. And no better way to practice than to just get out there and do it. Might be a good idea to drop the coin for a guide your first time so they can teach you some basics about how to cast, where to fish, what flys to use etc.

And then before you know it your whole life will be consumed by tying flys for every fish/season/location, and it will be your all consuming hobby, and all of a sudden it’s unattractive haha
