In my humble opinion, you are describing the 20%, and not the 80%.
I don’t know, man. The number one “food” purchased with SNAP is soda. We should at least get rid of that part.
I agree and meant to add this to my post, but my wife started yelling about how we have to get the kid ready for track practice and I got distracted.
SNAP should not be used for any sugary beverages, except milk or baby formula.
Soda is the pinnacle of unnecessary and unhealthy food.
Here’s a random SNAP observation. African and Middle Easterners in my town load their grocery carts full of healthy food for their massive families. I often see this at BJ’s with carts full of produce and meat.
You don’t often see that with white people in Maine who appear to be low income and/or on SNAP. They eat like lower-middle class Hoosiers in the 1980s, with lots of sugary snack food, vitamin fortified cereals and sugary soda, kool-aid and capri suns.
As I’m thinking about this, I think a lot of people have a disconnect between the categories of food, drinks, and calories.
For instance, my sister’s first had an issue gaining weight, so the pediatrician said he should eat more. Since she and her husband drank sweet tea nonstop, that’s what they were filling bottles with. When I suggested switching to milk, I got a lecture about how he was “supposed to eat more, not drink more!”
You have a potato too big for a kitchen??? Pics or gtfo
You don’t own a denim jacket

This weirded me out for a second because I actually don’t and wondered how you knew.
I got one for Christmas around 1987… put the .22 shell in the Levi’s tab and everything. Edge lord before it was cool
I would like to take this opportunity to say this is f@^king good ham.
(Well known Canadian comedy sketch.)
Were those Z Cavaricci pants he was wearing?
I don’t know what those are. I don’t think they were a thing in Canada back then.
But, if it was some expensive and trendy thing… although The Kids In The Hall was a low budget CBC show, in this (well-known in Canada by people of a certain age) sketch they destroy expensive props for no reason at all… so maybe.
(Screw You, Taxpayer!)
They were fancy pleated pants. The miami vice with a nice t-shirt look. The mullet of wardrobe choices.
I used to love watching The Kids In The Hall. That goes back to around my teen years.
Hell, I remember them from before Scott was gay.
It was a fantastic show. Please post some of your favourite sketches, if so inclined.
I’m crushing your head!

No… Upper / Lower
Surprised it’s not 100%!
