what…the …fuck
Can you give some basic pointers on set up and technique?
One thing that I notice about top raw benchers like you, Hoornstra or James Henderson, is that you guys have a very different technique from the one taught over at EliteFTS or Westside.
I see enough of an arch to stay tight and dig in the traps, and a good ammount of leg drive, but it looks mostly like an insane ammount of pure pressing strength, especially from a deadstop

This was done at the end of his chest workout by the way.[/quote]
That is absolutely ridiculous. This guy needs to step on the platform already.
he must bathe in gainz
Holy shit balls…

Right? How many people strain for months, bustin’ their asses to put 10lbs on their max, and this dude (who’s already handling weights that are at has to be close to the peak of human strength limits) is adding weight and reps. Not implying that he doesn’t work hard 'cause that’s obviously not the case. Just pointing out what a complete freak of nature he is.
He’s certainly redefining what is “physically possible” on bench.

True, sure gorillas could do 1000lb for reps easily.

A gorilla would be drop 1000lb on its face. Impossible to teach and shitty stability from midget legs.

Ok then, it could probably overhead press it, since that’s a more natural movement

Eric is certainly an ELITE animal. My eyes couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing on that 645 set.
