2021 New York Pro/Various Other Contests Results Thread

Hunter got his Olympia qualification. Be interesting to see if he can improve on his 8th from last year.

1. Hunter Labrada , $10,000
2. Brett Wilkin , $4,000
3. Maxx Charles , $3,000
4. Mohamad Shaaban , $2,000
5. Roelly Winklaar , $1,000
6. Hassan Mostafa
7. Zach Merkel
8. Justin Maki
9. Matt Kouba
10. Slavoj Bednar

Roelly in 5th was a shock. Also, I’ve never really heard of Brett Wilkin before this.

Hunter looked incredible in my opinion.

Got his Father’s symmetry, no weak points holding him back, and amazing conditioning.

Roelly was well off. That midsection doesn’t look good.

Deff similar lines with a lot more muscularity. I have to say that I preferred his fathers look overall though.

What was up with Roelly gut, not good.

2021 IFBB Tampa Pro Results

Ian Valliere gets his ticket to the Mr. Olympia.

1. Iain Valliere ($10,000)
2. Phil Clahar ($4,000)
3. Charles Griffen ($3,000)
4. Maxx Chatles ($2,000)
5. Mohammed Shaaban ($1,000)
6. Seungchu Lee

Phil Clahar the big surprise of the show, pushing Ian hard.

Edit: The lighting was bad, have to wait for high definition photos to see better.

I think he looks a lot better here than when he won the New York pro last year.

Ian always looks awesome, except for his calves. Its too much of a glaring weakness for me to get past. I know its genetic and he can’t help it, but this is bodybuilding! Does anyone still care about a balanced physique?

He definitely wasn’t his best there. His Tampa showing looks pretty close to when he placed 7th in the 2020 Olympia.

And the shows keep coming…

2021 IFBB Europa Pro

Nathan De Asha gets his qualification. (Edit: top 2 qualify for Olympia, so Roelly is also going to the Olympia).

  1. Nathan De Asha ($10,000)
  2. Roelly Winklaar ($3000)
  3. Tim Budesheim
  4. Vlad Suhoruchko
  5. Sarhan Sarhan

Wow there is a name I haven’t heard for a little while. Looks like he has added significant size since his debut a few years back. Might be poor photo but the conditioning doesn’t look too sharp.

The lighting at that show was real bad. Big digital screen lighting up the background, weird blue tinged front lighting.

you think by now they would get this stuff right.

Lol, It looked like 90s nightclub lighting.

He has some nice shape but has that really long torso and high lat insertions. Arms look incredible in that first pic you posted.

They have that neon outline you used to see around characters in games in the 90s

Legs look on point here.

Can’t believe people are giving Ian crap for “taking someone’s Olympia spot”. Dude has to make money and the best way to do that is to win. Plus, why would he want extra competition at the Olympia? There are already huge guys he has to go up against.

Looking at the list of qualified athletes for the 2021 Olympia, it looks like a hell of a stacked line up.
