Given Politics and marketability, I don’t think he would be totally off-base to assume he could make a 2-4 year run. (assuming he doesn’t fuck up and come in looking like shit.)

It’s not a matter of hours
Most of these guys will stop training legs a week out, and upper body will vary but nothing strenuous is going on the last few days before the show. Training will cause inflammation that blurs conditioning.

I did not see that at all until you highlighted it. I like heath, but I agree with the assessment someone pointed out during the Arnold I think about his arms overpowering his torso. I’m interested to see how this will play out.

Jay looked amazing in 09’ we’ll see what his back looks like and how conditioned he is. I think a shredded Kai who is bigger/fuller than last yrs O beats him.
related note: just saw a video of Kai doing a drop set type of shoulder workout 4 wks out, he drops from 4 plates a side at 5 reps down 2 plates at a time (405 down to 135). 405 shoulder press is silly!
