[quote]Yeah,… kinda creepy actually. Branch doesn’t have the ‘pretty lines’ factor going for him, so if he loses his conditioning (which is always up in the air… see pics from the '10 Arnold), or his thickness (see above weird lat pic), he’s easily gonna fall out of contention for the top 5.
I agree with what you say about Vic, but so many shows, especially the bigger ones, are won with the back, and with the legs, and to be honest, if Vic didn’t have all the personal BS that went on for him last year (even after the leg injury), I don’t think he would have placed as well as he eventually did at the O. Watching the video, if there’s one guy in the top tier who didn’t truly belong up there in 2010, it was Vic.

I guess we will just have to wait and see. I will definitely post pics of Vics legs as soon as his latest in the trenches training video comes out and then we can more easily assess where he is at.
[quote]I hope to god Phil wins this year…
I think as a bodybuilder he has the COMPLETE package of being a champion. Yeah people say he’s a bit too narrow or whatever but I mean look at his legs, arms, chest, traps and back… There is not definate clear indication of fault what so ever in him.
I hope he does not become another Levrone that should of won but just as time goes by never steps up into the limelight that he deserves.
I mean Kai has so much hype going for him and hes a truelly inspiring and motivating bodybuilder but to me Phil beats him. Lol and Wolf, after that initial break out into the top ten or whatever a while ago, he never steps up to show and why he has so much marketing attention I dont know! If Khan didnt get those knee tears, he would of been awesome in this years O if he was gonna compete.
GO Phil!!!

Yeah man, Phil is deserving of a Sandow for sure…I am a big Phil fan myself, not only because he is one of the best competitors, clearly taking the cake for best arms in current bodybuilding, but I also see him as a well spoken, friendly, stand up individual as well, which makes me like him even more. I think he would definitely make a grest ambassador for bodybuilding, not like he isn’t doing a great job already.
[quote]I dunno if Jay’s gonna repeat. First of all, he has to bring that same ridiculous package of massive beef and superb conditioning he brought last year to win it back (and shit yea - he deserved to win it back - I did not expect that, but the second you saw him, you knew) and even if he does, it won’t have the same shock factor it did last year.
With Phil and Kai breathing down his neck, it’s gonna be tough…

Bar none, Jay is the freakiset individual in bodybuilding right now. He is more heavily muscled than anyone else on stage. His only problem has been conditioning, which he nailed last year and rightfully won the show. If he is 100% on, I think he will be extremely hard to beat.
