Now I’ll preface this by saying that I have the utmost respect for your dedication to training and what you have accomplished, both personally and in helping other.

However, to go out of your way to comment on a hairstyle, in a thread dedicated to the Olympia, is beyond puerile. Now I know that you get very heated about certain topics, and enjoy a good argument, but why even waste your time on this? It just seems so ridiculous, especially for someone of your caliber and composition.

And how in the world is shaving the sides of your head a sacrifice? I kept my head shaved for the entire lacrosse season every year in college (2 years went with a Mohawk), and at no point did I ever feel like I was making a sacrifice.

None of those pics really matter, at the end of the day it’s how you look on stage. Toney Freeman and Dennis James are bedroom Mr Olympias every year, yet when it comes to getting on stage something is missing. The pics that are released are one of many taken and only chosen pics are released. At the end of the day Jay doesn’t have his own thread, whereas Kai and Roelly do, so much for Cutler love.

Again, I don’t see that, and I think many will agree Jay has personality, it’s grown a lot since 2006, I enjoy Jay videos and he’s a really cool dude.

You know who doesn’t have media personality, Dexter, nobody heard a word from him after he won the O, great ambassador for the sport right there. And Kai, sorry, but everytime the dude comes up I see more people calling him an idiot than praising him, his head is in the clouds half the time and I could care less who can do a backflip and who can’t hump the stage the best.

Two guys in bodybuilding right now with the most/best personality are Evan and Heath.

Let’s go back through the chain of events.

Professor X notices that only ONE pic posted of Cutler is from this year’s prep…so Prof X asks why all of the OLD pics when everyone else has new ones. This went on for pages until one poster posted more recent pics, none of which show much detail because he is CLOTHED…yet people are continuing to rant about how they don’t like this and that bodybuilder all while listing Cutler as sure to win despite not seeing that much of him this year.

Because of that, I then write about the Cutler love.

Now, I can see how this may be hard to follow for you…but here are some Cliff Notes for you.

IDC who started it, who brought it up, who continued it- the fact that Hair has been mentioned in a Page’s worth of posts is beyond ridiculous. Next monkey nut to mention someone’s hair gets a donkey kong barrel in the ass.

BACK to the olympia. Speculation is all fine and dandy- Truth of the matter is in contest prep leading up to a competition, a day can make or break your physique. Proportions and symmetry have lost a lot of Game winning potential in my eyes. What proof is there? Jay winning the olympia 3x. Jay is a monster, there is no doubt about it, but as i said, aside from last year’s olympia, i dont feel he looked great in his others. Last year, he got his diet down PAT, he didnt have that usual skin fold over his abs. But i believe his proportions are slightly off/his waist is too thick. Does my opinion truly matter? No, im not a judge, this is just my thoughts.

Dex always comes in with a fantastic X/always cut to shreds. His has wide shoulders and a thin waist. I think Dex could use a bit more leg width to be honest. His shoulders are fantastic constantly, but his legs fall short when looking at him proportionally.

Kai- Kais leg’s are fantastic, and they work great with his delts. If his waist comes in as thin as that earlier pic showed it to be, i think he has a very good chance of taking the title this year.

Warren- Branch’s quads are ridiculous. To the point that i think they overshadow his delts.

once again, these are simply opinions, opinions brought about from limited photos and poor angling. I could be completely off base with these, but i could be spot on. Who knows. The only thing that matters is the day of the contest, and like i said, if people come spot on, its anybody’s game. Now, lets get back to the reasonable speculation and conversing, and stop all the Poo flinging.

my judgment is based on the fact that jay has been doing this shit for yrs and he’s only been in top condition in 2001 and 2009, if i were betting on jay i wouldn’t like those odds. jay always looks great going in but fucks up his water manipulation or his carb up, either spilling over or peaking late or early. retraction, he never looks great because his shape sucks, 2009 was the first yr i marginally liked PARTS of his physique.

Anyways, My final lineup for the olympia is:

  1. Cutler - I’m comfortable with the idea that this may be his last olympia and then he will retire. IF his conditioning is spot on like last year.

  2. Kai - I think he has a better muscular balance than most of the others below, but can’t yet compare with cutler’s development.

  3. Phil - I’m iffy on this one just because he brings the guns to the gun show, but they DO outperform his chest.

  4. Roelly - May switch places with Phil, just because they both seem to be in the same ball field development wise.

  5. Dexter - no comment

6,7,8 - Wolf, Branch, ???
