Damn, you shorter guys got it good. At 6’2", I just hit 18" and at a damn weight of 255ish. Now if I could only figure out how to keep them that way as I start leaning down a few months from now.

Train the muscle, not the movement.
30 seconds rest periods, or my training partner goes, I go (squats and bench I rest a little longer)
Squeeze at the top of most movements, slow negatives.
Train for the pump.
High volume, lots of reps 12-20 most of the time.

Yup and now I think the heavy lifting got me to a point where I can now back down, still lift heavy but focus a lot more on the muscle.
