Hello again,
I’ve been checking my weight every Tuesday at the same time of the day and I’ve been gaining about 3 to 4 pounds a week. Obviously it ain’t all muscle but i’m wondering if this is a good “pace” I’m 5’8’’ at 160 pounds. Goal is 180 but from the looks of it I’m thinking 190-200
Been taking cytogainer but i hate the way it tastes. I was thinking about switching to muscle milk but the problem is that it doesn’t have all the extras that gainer has. Whats your take on that?
I’m working my legs one day a week just like everything else; however, they don’t seem to be getting as big as everything else is and trust me, I work them hard. Should I work em twice a week instead?
thanks!

Let’s work through this together, shall we? How would anyone be able to tell you it is too much of a gain if you are gaining muscle mass in majority? How would anyone know how much muscle you are gaining without seeing you or knowing what you started with?
In short, some kid who was undereating to begin with could very well gain a huge amount of “mostly muscle” in a very short period of time as a beginner. We don’t know you OR what you look like, therefore, we can’t tell you if you are eating too much.
Beginner gains change concepts that are held as rules.
As a GENERAL rule, the goal is about 1-2lbs of weight gain a week BASED ON YOUR PERSONAL RESULTS.
If that isn’t clear enough for you, I am not sure what will get through.
