10 Mos Fat Loss, 3 Mos Mass Gain

The attached before/after pic is the result of a 10 month fat loss regimen, losing 75 lbs, and then 3 months of gaining where I gained about 10. I am about to “cut” again for a couple months at which point I’ll try to bulk up a bit more. I’m far from being a bodybuilder nor is that what I want, I just want to have a nice, attractive, semi-muscular body that I can take some pride in, after being fat all my life.

I’m 31 years old, 6’0, currently weigh 193, Lowest weight 182, Highest 260.

Don’t be too harsh, I know I’m not huge, but that isn’t what I’m going for.

good job losing the weight man. seriously.

I know your not going for the huge look, but if you go on another cutting cycle your making a big mistake. You’re at a good point where if you get on a serious lifting routine and trying to gain muscle, that little bit of unwanted fat will come off due to your higher percentage of lean mass. Remember, just having more muscle burns fat too.

lol, and please shave that sweater.

GREAT job! Really amazing. You managed to stay pretty lean after the gaining period.

Keep it up!

I like the way the pelt seems to have grown with an inverse relationship to your weight

“Does that sweater come in a V-neck”

Sorry dude. You have lost a ton , keep it up.

Good job man! Losing that much weight takes a huge amount of determination, which not that many people have. I’m sure you can use that determination to achieve other great things in life.

Actually, I think my chest hair did increase, due to the fact that I’m producing more Testosterone now.

I like the size I am now but want to lose the remaining fat. So, I’m going to lose 10, then gain 10 again, and see where I am.

I know i don’t look very big compared to people on this site but compared to normal people walking around I’m a little buff, which is about where I want to be. Just enough for the ladies to notice…

well your midsection when fat was spreading the hair apart and now that you’re leaner, it’s all bunched up! but great work on the fat loss and keep hitting the weights.

hey, great job!!! how did you loose the 75lbs?
What kind of diet, meal plan did you follow, what exercise routine?

why are the photos in black and white?

You look like a different person, keep up the good work!

Much respect for you accomplishments. I would recommend some leg/calf work. They look a little funky.

Along with bicep/forearm work.

Shit, I really shouldn’t criticize, just an awesome job of losing!!

Good work, but I would recomend shaving your chest before you take your next photos…

Picture in your minds eye this, Your before photo: fat, slobby, hairy, your after photo lean, muscular, hairless. Wait 3 more months and do it up, shave the chest, take the photo. You can keep that photo always.

Really? I thought my legs were my most muscular part… and my calves aren’t pictured

Your legs are fairly muscular compared to the rest of your body.

Time to pack some size onto all of it though. What is your current plan for gaining some mass?

Well, for whoever is interested, you can check out my weight loss blog here.

It pretty much outlines my tactics and plans for both weight loss and muscle gain.

I’m attempting to stay about the same size, but just slowly exchange body fat for lean muscle mass. Like I said, not trying to get big, just want to look like a normal, fit guy.

Thanks for all your comments!

that site is unavailable, did you mistype something?

Oh my goodness!!! You look fantastic and about 20 years younger.

What was your nutrition and workouts like?

Congrats on such a huge accomplishment!!!

Great job. I don’t think you need to cut at this point, especially if your goal is to be more muscular. You’re lean enough to get away with continuing your mass phase.

Rated 6, you have done a great job of losing alot body fat, Congrats.

Dude serious why are going to cut again and bulk back up? Your at the good stage at the moment on track, Maintain your weight, Eat Healthy and Clean, Lift Lift Lift and then Cut, IMO>
