I’ve been following for ages (or so it seems), but wanted to chime in finally before the big event.
First, as a type 1 diabetic, watching your skipload video almost put me into a diabetic coma. I mean holy cow! That is a lot of pain you are inflicting on your pancreas, but at least it is for a good cause.
Second, why apologize for your French Canadian accent? Referring to point one, maybe you are apologizing because you have drifted so far away from the lovely cuisine your peeps have which you apparently lost
Ok, last comment. You bloody rock sir. Seeing you improve over months, your dedication and good cheer, well, it is quit inspiring. Seriously. My hat (I don’t actually wear one, but humour me) is off to you, sir!

Are you sure you don’t mean 3000 calories from carbs (which would be 750g), lol? 3000g of carbs is 12,000 calories, brah
…come on man…
Just 1 poptart = 36g carbs…
That takes nothing away from the fact that eating 3000g of carbs in a day is madness. Taking into consideration the other macros that will be present in those foods, you’ll end up eating like 14,000 cals. Not doubting you or Skip, just trying to comprehend how that much could be beneficial based on what I’ve read about glycogen supercompensation. Hypothetically speaking, if you had 200lbs of LBM, 1400g would be like the max intake I’d expect to see over 24hrs and you’re doing more than double that so my mind = blown.
Very intredasted to see the result of this.
It is clearly working for him, as crazy as the breakdown may sound.
Having worked with Skip before I know he uses massive re-feeds and gives a window, I’ve been told by him to eat as much as I can as he hasn’t met many people that can overdo it.
Have been watching, main reason I come on T-Nation is to check this out as I stay on uk based forums alot more. Good luck for the show, looking big and ripped dude (not that you didn’t know) Ill keep an eye out for the result AND TO WATCH THE REBOUND !
Scott abel would have his clients eat 15K plus cals a day using his cycle diet. They would have contests posting up or getting together to see who could eat the most. Shit was insane.
THe body cant handle that much food that quickly though so a good chunk of it just moves through you and you shit it out lol.
