Love this thread. Lots of good info. Just curious about something you said earlier in the thread. You mentioned that you didn’t think IF or carb backloading were optimal. Just curious what you don’t like about both?
Carb backloading : I think carbs around workout are more efficient
IF : I think having too big of a desire to eat and feel like your starving can easily make you go overboard. I dont like a feeling of starve/too full etc etc. I also think that if you are IFing for a long part of the day it ends up being hard to get in enough proteins if you are aiming for high #s (i get almost 400g/day lol…). The protein part is more important for an assisted lifter I would think though
I’ve found the same problem with IF. At the end of the day I often have to force more protein in to make my daily quota. Not always a pleasure, and usually a pain.
Amazing transformation you went through! Congrats!

Zraw, is there an upper limit for the amount of fat you are allowed to eat on your skiploads?
I try to always stay under 5g fat for 30g of carbs but I have a lot of stuff that is way lower than that
I also try to keep the “fattier” stuff for the end of the load
cool, thanks for that.
Looking fucking nasty mate! This has been one of my favourite threads ever on this site. Really cool to see the combination of Meadows training and Skip nutrition coming together.
Thanks! Glad you guys like it! Im trying to keep ya’ll updated as much as I can with pics and changes and stuff
This saturday i’ll be 6weeks out. From there I should start getting dryer and harder
My weight is still pretty stable lol

Thanks! I think the fun part has yet to come though ![]()
yo man, i was re reading this thread and while im still a posing newbie i was thinking you could try leaning back into rear poses a bit more… you said you need your lats to pop a bit more on rear lat spread. try bending waaaay back which should give the illusion of less waist and more lats. I can tell you are sort of doing this already, buy you could try leaning back even further. no one complained about my rear poses and i lean back quite a lot. I dunno man, give a try and let me know what you think.
Watching the O is damn inspiring 6weeks out!!
And it also gives a bit of tricks as far as posing is concerned
I think I got pretty much all the poses good now… just need to make sure I flex my hams from the back

in his DVD, Skip complains about people “sticking their dick in the curtain” when doing rear lat spread - at least in the seminar portion (its been over a year since i watched the posing chapter)
its worth trying it as it’ll only take a minute, but i personally find my rear lat spread looks better when i arch my back and stick my arse out towards the camera more… i’m not sure if you’re suggesting to do the opposite but i personally find it pretty hard to lean back a lot when doing it that way, so im kind of assuming you are
Looking sick Zraw, good luck with the rest of your prep!
