7 weeks out

I was 199.6 this morning when taking the pics, pre skipload unpumped etc etc
Amazing that 16 weeks ago you were 205lbs, and are now so much leaner. You have obviously added alot of muscle in such a short time, great job.

5’9 200lbs in your condition is a big dude - what do your coaches expect you to weigh onstage have they given any indication?
I havent asked! I will for you tonight! I hope they both dont tell me “WEIGHT IS MEANINGLESS YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT”

lol :D
ha ha the worst thing would be if your scale is like 3-4 pounds off the one they use and you think you are going to make the the light heavies and then you end up stuck as the lightest guy in the heavyweight class. I think that happened to Skip in his longevity DVD actually lol.

Also more skip load stories plz =)
Haaaa! Well anyways I really dont care about what weight class I end up in as long as I look my best!!

This week load was a bit smaller, wasnt as hungry but still about 1600g of carbs, I think

Meal 1 : 24 small pancakes + with 3000ml maple syrup and 500ml energy drink
Meal 2 : 6 low fat donuts, 370g gummies
Meal 3 : 2 low fat donuts, 185g gummies, 500ml energy drink
Meal 4 : 1 full box of kraft diner

I really like gummies and pancakes! I will probably go back to eating some poptarts and rice krispies next week, I kinda miss those lol
you bastard!!! i only get 50 g of carbs a day now!!! my fault for starting dieting at 18-20 percent bodyfat though!

I hope that was suppose to say 300ml of maple syrup…

Veins are starting to pop out all over man, gonna look like a damn road map come show time.

Any insight on what your abdominal protocol has been zraw?

They look great top to bottom, plus it looks like your smuggling garden hose!

2x/week im doing 2 abs exercises

One for more lower abs so usually legraise on platform for 15-25 reps 4sets
And
One for more upper abs so cable crunches 15-25reps 4sets

3x weeks I just do 4sets to failure of Vups

Figured I’d post this even if I make a whacky face haha

what size is your waist

Currently 32.5 inches but it was lower than that when I was eating fewer cals

Well 32.5 morning. On the bathroom chest pic its probably way higher considering I drink about 2L of water during my workout

Where are you finding these low fat donuts/brownies/waffles etc all the ones i find have 7-10 grams of fat per serving.

Low fat donuts are baked directly at the grocery store at IGA 74g carbs for 5g fats or something

Brownies are from bakery at lowblaws but they arent that low fat iirc its 26g carbs for 5g fats… but they taste awesome

Pancakes/waffles I take the frozen Aunt Jemima ones waffles have 5g fats for 32g carbs and pancakes 6g fats for 42g carbs

Also, Skip isnt sure what I’ll be weighing in since im getting tighter but weight isnt going down right now

What are you plans for the future man? are you planning on competing at the national level? By the way things are looking, with a good offseason you’ll be getting there

Zraw, is there an upper limit for the amount of fat you are allowed to eat on your skiploads?

Hey! Well the show im doing in november isnt a qualifier for anything. You really only get a qualification for the provincials (would be equivalent to state for you guys) if you win the overall. The provincials are at the very end of june. I would not do them this year, no matter what.

The only qualifier for the provincials afterward is a show at the end of march… but you only have to “do the show” to qualify.

What I would be doing is do the qualifier and the provincials in 2014 and use from november 2012 to something like february 2014 to grow… I would do the april qualifier but wouldnt peak for it.

I would like to be able to do the nationals in 2015 if all goes well and I actually like posing in front of a crowd and stuff!

We’ll see

I try to always stay under 5g fat for 30g of carbs but I have a lot of stuff that is way lower than that

I also try to keep the “fattier” stuff for the end of the load

Love this thread. Lots of good info. Just curious about something you said earlier in the thread. You mentioned that you didn’t think IF or carb backloading were optimal. Just curious what you don’t like about both?

Carb backloading : I think carbs around workout are more efficient

IF : I think having too big of a desire to eat and feel like your starving can easily make you go overboard. I dont like a feeling of starve/too full etc etc. I also think that if you are IFing for a long part of the day it ends up being hard to get in enough proteins if you are aiming for high #s (i get almost 400g/day lol…). The protein part is more important for an assisted lifter I would think though

cool, thanks for that.

Looking fucking nasty mate! This has been one of my favourite threads ever on this site. Really cool to see the combination of Meadows training and Skip nutrition coming together.
