Remember my “classical physique training” post when I first started this site? Remember the suggestions of “How about you find someone who’s actually still alive with that look”. Well, you’re one of those real-live lifters that has achieved a lot of what I’m trying to do. Thanks for the inspiration. ;)[/quote]

wow! Thats probably one of the best compliment ive ever had! Thanks so much!

Hitting the RLS right is a bitch though as I dont know when it looks best and then I dont have any “cue” to know that im at the point where it’s at the widest… if that makes sense haha

Well I just talked with Skip and apparently he WANTED me to be a bit less tight. He said I was too lean for 14-15weeks out and wanted me to add muscle and be fuller.

All is good it seems

I’ll admit I was a bit bummed by the “less lean” thingy when I looked at the pic yesterday… I felt like I had regressed… -_-

Excellent!

Right on target!

On your last side pose, your hammies look WAY bigger than when you started this thread. Don’t know how you brought them up, but it was effective. Well done !

This one looks sick man. Keep up the good work.

Also good job at bringing up your arms. Compared to your earlier photos, your delts don’t stand out nearly as much (that’s a good thing)… it all looks much more balanced. They’re still huge, of course.

Yeah that makes sense. I would think your best bet would be to practice while having someone watch that knows what’s up. Then when you hit the pose and it looks best they let you know.

Keep doing that over and over until you get the feel for when you’re hitting it just right?

^^total guess here though lol

Exactly. You’ll need someone to literally stand behind you at some distance to make a good judgment call on when you’re right on. If you photograph yourself from the back, have the shooter stand about 20 ft back to avoid lens distortion.

A lot of guys over-zealously spread their lats and round their back so much that the lats literally wrap around their sides and disappear when seen directly from behind.

The trick is to spread the lats while keeping the plane of the upper back flat (across-wise), while pushing your pelvis forward and your shoulders toward the viewer (to create the illusion of a larger upper back when compared to the hips).

Don’t stress the “less lean.” As Skip basically said, you have plenty of time for how lean you already are. No harm in growing a bit now as long as you don’t get sloppy.

Hey Z,

Are you still basically hitting each part once per week, or are you double-timimg specific parts?

Thx for the feedbacks everyone!! Im practicing a lot and hope everything looks like it should comes show day!

I just finihsed an amazingly intense leg session today!

figured i’d throw this up

Everything once per week! I do not think John thinks I need to focus too much on a specific bodypart and he was pretty confident my hams would be growing a lot… which they did

Looking great.

What is your current weight and when is the comp? 10 weeks?

Do you have any plans for post competition yet - like if you’ll compete again, in 6 months, a year etc? Or what bodyparts in particular you wanna bring up, or you wanna add 5-6lbs of stage weight first or whatever.

Have your supplements given any bad sides so far or is it all good?

Your doing great! You seem so positive throughout your prep too…thats nice to hear

Comp is in 10weeks yes! Im currently 201 lbs

The competition im doing gets you a qualification for the provincial show only if you win the overall (its a novice show). If I end up winning, ill do the provincials at the end of june. If not, ill be taking a full year and a half off and will just do the regular qualifier for the provincials which are in march (you only got to do the competition… thats dumb). I wouldnt want to do 3 show in the same year

No bad sides from supps no

Im positive because to be honest im enjoying the process

Random shoulder pic

Wow your rear delts are really popping now.

I will just post two pics this week… two pics that I feel I improved A LOT and that im now quite happy about

side chest  I think it now looks more like a “package” instead of looking like something awkward and that doesnt flow well together
