Good advice being given out here. That Tate program looks good.

I can’t do that Tate program till after my meet, because I’ll need a lot more work in the suit then it offers. But after that, I will run the 9 week cycle, and if I hit massive prs I will continue to run it, if not I will toss it aside.

Seroiously though, use your imagination. If you have a GHR, then you should be able to rig something up with a dumbell with your feet facing into the GHR and holding the ankle rollers (knee pad goes into your waist).

I think you are making a wise choice by giving the Tate program a go. You can always do like I do and wear your suit (or at least suit bottoms) when you box squat so you can keep the feel of it.

one thing though is that I may do leg presses instead of one legged squats. I’m not losing any of the leghypertrophy I worked so damn hard for.

I’ll probably do leg presses or power squats instead of single leg squats. My reasoning is that I don’t really have an imbalence in leg strength, and there isn’t a chance in hell I’m giving up the quad hypertrophy I worked so hard for.

other then that, it looks like I’ll have to bite the bullet and do it as layed out.

and by leg presses, and power squats I meant probably front squats, and if that doesn’t work out, I’ll do machine work.

That’s what I figured too.

I just dropped the single leg work, and put one of the ab assistance on the the DE Squat day instead of two on ME Day. I switched out the ball press for a One Board, as a final ME lift to know where your Bench is before a meet.

“board press” = two board

ball press will be a one board

single leg work= anderson front squats

ab work= lower body days

does this sound good?

nix the anderson front squats. Id keep the single leg work.
