Damn. You guys must have some great boosters. That’s better than the (big) university gym I used last year.

oh, that would be my ultimate choice, but it is not an available option

Zep how is your high school gym because shit mine last year was a joke not only did they not have alot of stuff but 95% of the kids in there just fucked around and didnt train. I hope yours isnt like that since I can tell your acually commited haha

6 racks with safeties. 10 bench presses with bar holers, 2 incline benches with bar holders. 6 plain adjustable benched in the db room, 2 GHS, 1 side bend/hyperextention contraption, DBs up to 100. 2 lat pulldowns, 1 cable row, 4 random extra cable pulleys, 2 smith machines, a plate3 loaded leg press, 2 cable stack loaded presses (very pussy), a inner thigh machine (see last), a leg curl machine (maxed it out ages ago), a leg extention machine (almost maxed out), chest press machine, flys machine, lower back machine, ab machine, curl machine, row machine, pulldown machine, and like 25 cardio machines.

Pretty decent.

I recently got to have some of the actual (and like only) decently strong guys in my school lift with me today. They both squat in the low 300s, and to depth. Which is pretty crazy nowadays. Both of these guys may join the team. Although I hang out with them sometimes so it wasn’t anything super special.

Plus one of the underclassmen asked me about joining the powerlifting team next year. That made me very happy.

wow well yea that blows mine away lol and yea if you can find anyone in my grade last year who couldt acually squat in the low 300s and was in the high school gym I would be suprised haha. Now this powerlifting team is it for your school by any chance? I dont think it is but the way it sounded i was like maybe haha. Also how high is your leg curl machine
Yeah it is, we can’t get the school to nominate it a sport yet though for some reason. It’s considered a club sport.

The only better school weightroom in wisconsin is at Madison, and it’s a college.

there’s a HS in wisc that makes it’s athletes that don’t do winter sports train for and compete in powerlifting. And they are absolutely dominant at football.

Today:

-incline bench
worked up to 175x1 and missed 185x1

-reverse grip smith bench

worked up to
175 8x5x2 RP PR

`smith shoulder press

no prs on this, REALLY weak after the first too lifts. I barely made 8 with 145

Lat pulldowns (no one was there to get the weight on my lap for rack chins)

worked up to 156x8

Cable rows
worked up to 156x6 PR

incline db curls
30x16 total

cable curls

a few high rep pump sets. I love cable curls.

I don’t know if I’m making enough progress. I may just forget about making 181 and start bulking to 200+. I want a big ass deadlift and the low 400s just aren’t cutting it for me.

this progress just isn’t good enough.

thoughts?

your not making enough progress ?

shit , only your bench seems to be giving you grief . and getting bigger may not solve that problem.

I would bet that with a bit more attention to your diet you could continue to get stronger without getting heavier …which means getting leaner . and you may want to think about that apnea as you contemplate weight gain.

just my 2 cents .and thats all its worth

From what Ive been reading youve made quite a bit of progress. Your bench just hasnt made as much as your squat and deadlift, which tend to go up faster IMO. Maybe you should be hitting tri’s alot harder. Are you taking any supplements at the moment?

nope. I don’t count protein as supplements. I have half a bottle of beta alanine and a whole jug of creatine sitting here.

what do u take peri-workout zep as far as portien powder and all that
crod266 wrote:

I don’t take anything peri workout. Ultimately supplements are worthless. I probably won’t spend any more money on something other then creatine or beta alanine or something that I an use for meal replacement or post workout. It just isn’t worth it.

Yeah I do.

I wil stay by that and say supps are pretty useless. You’ll gain more eating 500-1000 more calories a day then you will adding some non hormonal supp.

not to mention prices are rediculous.

Today:

boxsquat:
worked up to and failed at 365x0

which is what I get when my eyes are bigger than my legs. lol

Leg press+glute hams I both stayed very light on, my glutes felt messed up after failing that squat

pred leg extentions 230x17

shitty day. I’m going back to regular squats next week.

edit: I did super wide grip latpulldowns this day too. IDR the weights.

You ever have any expirience with BCAA’s? Im a little bit younger than you, and trying to find out any probelms that could arise with me taking them this young.

You won’t have any problems with them. They are just the building blocks of protein. Treat them as an addition to a meal or shake.

Today:

incline bench:
135x3
155x3
175x2PR

Shoulder press (used a diff smith with an angle so no prs to break, going to dbs next week)

In-human smith CGBP
135x15
185x3

Kept it light today, my lower back has been over fatigued.

Worked up to 405x1 deadlift

156x9 cable rows

some standing cable abs

cable curls

IDR the weights

My elbow has been aching like a motherfucker.

since when did

kept it light = worked up to 405

???

I have gone from slightly jealous to full on jealousy of your dl numbers.
