Your Summer Goals?

squat 315x1
bench 275x1
deadlift 405x1
and get as close to 200 lbs as possible. 170 now

Tryin to get to 230 by years end, w/ minor appreciable fat gain. Also would like to pick up my dead lift #s

Grind along to get back to the 200lb mark. Was down to around 183-185 thanks to a low back surgery. Hovering around 190-193 now (6 months from date of procedure).

I dont really have any ‘summer goals’.

I just want to get to a 350+ bench, 420+ squat, and 500+ deadlift as soon as possible.

I’d like to finally get 3 plates on bench as my bp has always been pathetic. Hit 550 on DL. For squat, i’d be happy with a 10 pound increase. It hasn’t gone up in a long time.

315 for 5 on deadlift isn’t a lot though… A lot of people get that within a few months of training, maybe less. Some people are just straight up better at pulling than pressing.

FWIW.

true.

i guess in retrospect my bench probably wasnt much better when i was doing 3 plates.

@ OP

just think, in a few years you’ll be able to bench that.

I already can…
i was talking about the guy with a 315x5 deadlift and a 180 bench

450 lbs deadlift for 5-6 reps by the end of this year. 350 lbs for 5 repetitons on squats. Bench press is my weakest link, therefore I only intend to get at least a decent stat on that excersise to. I’d not mind 230-240 lbs bodyweight by december, moreover 20-25 reps of pullups with that BW.

^^ And I’ll achieve these goals, because I wish them soo… and I have a logbook, which only likes to be beaten every week.

Just hit the damn 290 mark on the scale, while still looking sexay lol. About 12 pounds left to go
Fucking cock wrangler lol! Personally I’m gunning for a solid ass 275. I’m gearing it down big time so I’m not just gaining weight like a steer on Synovex. I need a little less than 15 lbs to go and then I can tighten it up again, and finally shoot for a tight 270-285 by Christmas. Thats if I don’t snap or tear something along the way. One way or another its will happen.

To puts teh pwnge on teh iron.

Hit a 300lb Bench
Hit a 425lb Deadlift
Hit a 405lb Squat

ATG Squat 315 x 20+
Pull 6
See “Bruno”
Cut some fat
Behind the Neck Press 225 for reps
Bang some cougars

register for fall classes

I wanna recover the strength I lost due to exams and moving house. Once I get that back;
-I wanna to enter a few oly lifting comps.
-Get a BW snatch and add 15-20kgs to my Clean and Jerk.

I’m trying to get my bench up to 315 (255x5 now), Squat to 315x20 (300x15 now), F.Squat to 320 (285x4 now), and pull ups with 100 lbs added (have done 75 for 2), along with bring up my arms to match my shoulders and finally hit 200 lbs

currently 165lbs

the aim is 200lbs by end of the year.

I want to become a guru on T-Nation…

Then, you guys can argue about my concepts on here and what not…

By the end of summer:
340 bench
420 squat
500 deadlift

currently

325 bench
390 squat
465 deadlift

with summer ending in September, I would not mind seeing myself bp 250x10, dead 440x6-8, and squat 335x12-14. Silly 5/3/1 makes it hard to set 1RM max goals.

I would also like to have another competition in the planner, along with a possible strongman comp, and be able to smoke the Navy PFT at about 240lbs or so.

I set end of the year goals, so im looking at those:

Bodyweight- 230 would be minimum 240 would be great

Bench- 335
Squat- 500 for reps
Deadlift- 500+

If the weights seem a little random, it’s because I coverted the kg to lbs as in my gym everythings in kg.

170/175 bodyweight (currently 165)
225 bench (currently 165 x 11. I may already be able to do this)
264 squat (currently 176 x 10)
308 deadlift (was 225 for 10 but I found out my form was shit, so I lowered the weight to try nail the form and managed 176 for 10 also.)

Going to take some serious effort to attain the squat and deadlift but you gotta aim high right?
