Your 3 hour window of opportunity.

We all know that the 3 hours after a training session are most likely the most critical to get right. So i was wondering what some of the fellow T-men do in these 3 hours.
Myself, directly after training i have i scoop of VP2 Whey Protein Isolate mixed with a high glycemic sports drink. 30 minutes after this i have exactly the same thing. Another 30 minutes after this i have one packet of Ny-tro Pro40 blended in one glass of milk. Then 90 minutes after this meal i have one more scoop of VP2 mixed with one glass of milk. The only thing missing i would say is Creatine, but since i started to shred the fat 3 weeks ago i wont be adding that in the near future. Other than that i think i have most things covered, the VP2 contains the BCAA’s, the Ny-tro Pro40 contains the Glutamine, Cysteine and some more BCAA’s. Thats 4 liquid meals in just under 3 hours. 135 grams of high quality protein, 115 grams of fast acting carbohydrates and less than 5 grams of fat. 1045 calories.
What about you guys?

I believe John Berardi said you have one to two hours of time after your workout. But it’s best to get your post-workout nutrition within the first hour. As for me, I take Surge. It’s all I need. An hour or two later, I eat a regular meal.

I’ve mixed a number of formula’s together - the most effective before Surge was Extreme Pure Protein (Ionized whey protein isolate + Branched chain amino acids and Glutamine peptides) with Ultra Fuel. The most effective out today is Surge - don’t even bother with mixing other stuff together, it blows my mind how effective this is.

Wow, thats 4 liquid meals, I would consider changing the last two to regular meals. Its important to have the liquid meals at first because of their fast digestion, but I really need to get all of my real meals in for the day as well. This is what I do- Immediately after- Surge, 1 hour later, myoplex mass- 2 hrs later- real food meal (chicken and rice)

Surge all the way!

I used to do the homemade thing, but no longer. Surge works better and the taste by itself is worth the extra cost.
