Ok, my goals were a bit lofty and really got this thread off track. So I’ve come up with more achievable goals.
Sneak outta bed while Miss Boll Weevil, 1984, is puttin her teeth back in, jump out the bathroom window of the motel 6, light up a swisher sweet and take a chug of MD 20/20. Grab a bag of goobers form the parkin lot vending machine, put a quart of oil in and drive my beat to shit 73 Ford 100 down to the dock, unhitch my jon boat and float out to a sand bar. Take a good piss in the river, stretch out on the sand, slap the skeeters off, open a can of vienna sausage and salute the sun comin up from the Tennessee River with a warm PBR.
And lift heavy shit.
This thread was for meant for lofty goals we all want to achieve. Now its been thrown in the gutter. I hope you guys are happy.

Elliot Hulse seems to be making a pretty good go of it. Might be some ideas you can use there. Alwyn Cosgrove talks a lot about the business side of having your own fitness/gym business too.

Steve, in Writing 101 they state: remember your audience. Now, you know us, do you think this would stay out of the gutter?

I have done the 405, almost, got 19. Then puked, picked another goal. I might have to try it again this year.
Really like the last two. Not sure about the bf thing, I have held that for very short periods of time (days at best). Then beer and an Italian beef come to mind.

i really don’t get the bf goal… God wants us men to have large amounts of bodyfat on us. He has also sent me a sign of the impending ice age- I have started to grow a very nice “winter coat”. I don’t know about some of you guys, but i’m going to come out the other side of this ice age thing sitt’n pretty.

Funny, we’ve had nearly the same vision. Bodyhair and bodyfat = survivor.

okay… but have you had this vision- "you are imagining it’s the end of the world and food is scarce. have you ever looked at someone and thought- “yeah… i could eat that person”.
Get back into the gym on a consistent basis. And ride my bike somewhere. Where I don’t know, just ride.

I was completely kidding (and drunk) last night. I prefer the gutter talk.

My goals for 2010
BW below 250

My Goals by the end of the year, Drop into the 242’s (I’m at 20% BF right now)
Raw bench 405
Single ply shirt bench 500
Squat with something that resembles good form
Pull 500
Fix all my old dumbass imbalances so that when I lift heavy things only those things that are supposed to hurt hurt…
1575 raw total

I know it’s late, but this sounds like a realistic goal. Have you achieved it yet? ![]()

I’d have to agree, seeing as I have daughters. I liked everything about that video, sort of, except that particular part.
Fix my figgin back!!! That’s my new goal.
