I’m a high school wrestler who also plays other sports. I did well in wrestling my freshman year because of my athletic ability, but I need to get all the basic techniques down to a science. Does anyone know any instructional dvd’s that are good and any that aren’t outrageously expensive?
The Carl Adams DVDs are good. However, for getting technique down you should be drilling with other people and coaches. I would recommend going to as many camps, clinics, and open mats as possible in the offseason. Offseason wrestlers become in season champions. Drill, drill, drill, and wrestle live. That is how your technique will improve.
i got the kevin jackson/mike van arsdale which is excellent. Darrel Gholars stuff is exceptional too.
