Workouts

This has probably been addressed before, but I’m gonna go ahead and ask it. What is the best workout program that I can use to get big ? 1-2 body parts a day for a 5 days a week or something? I could probably do some reading up on it and stuff, but I dont have that much time to do that. So, any help would be appreciated. I also like to hear personal experiences on which workouts seem best to get big. And I’m not talking about diet ! Along with a get big diet, what workout could be used ? Thank you in advance

Dude, I hate to break it to you, but you’re going to have to do some “reading up on it and stuff”. The best place to do this is to click on the “Previous Issues” button to the left and check out the various articles, then come back and ask some specific questions. I also suggest that you read the diet articles as well, since they have a wealth of knowledge on how to eat for optimum gains. If you can’t take the time to do this, you’ll never have the time or dedication it requires to get “big”.

Depends on alot of factors, particulalry: work committments, other exercise you do, how lean you want to stay or how bulked you don’t mind getting, your bodytype, and number of calories you’re taking in each day. Sounds like you don’t mind bulking a little, and calories shouldn’t be a problem. I used a four day split with good success.
Mon: Back/Triceps
Tue: Quads
Thur:Delts/Calves/Hams
Fri: Chest/Biceps

But, be sure to change up your sets/reps every now and then. I’d switch between high/low reps/sets. You can also make split changes,eg,
Mon: Chest/Back
Tue: Quads
Thur:Delts/calves/hams
Fri: Biceps/Triceps
This routine lets you make use of ‘alternates’.

Just curious, if you don’t have time to read up on it, where are you going to find time to train?

I’ve had best results putting on size with
1-6-1 training described in the “1-6 Princeple” by Coach P. As for diet The Pound a Week Diet was on the money. But I don’t know if you’d be intrested in those, I had to do some reading up before I could get big…
