Workout Tracking Apps

Hey everyone,

What workout tracking apps do you prefer? I’ve been using StrongLifts (no longer StrongLifts 5x5) as a tracker, I stopped using the 5x5 program a long time ago, but I’m familiar with the format and I can just create my own workouts and it basically does what I want it to do… but it looks like there are about 10,000 AI driven blah blah blah apps out there and I’m just wondering if anyone has input.

I’m a busy 41 year old and my job consists primarily of driving and standing still in a small room or in front of other people so dropping and doing some push-ups is rarely an option. I have bad knees that limit the volume of stuff like squats or high impact calisthenics. And up until about 3 years ago I was a fat bastard and dropped about 80lbs using mostly intermittent fasting and partly with keto… I fell victim to the lockdown BS, lost my drive, worked into the ground, and am trying to get my crap together again… any pointers?

Personally, I like making my own templates via Excel like so…

but there’s also an app I found that I may switch over to at some point [RepCount]. Free version looks like it will do the trick, but paid version may have some neat tricks if you’re into that kind of thing.

RepCount huh? I’ll take a look!

Trying to work with spreadsheets on the phone is a huge pain! Apps are just easy to work with on the fly so I can make a change and not forget
