My problem is that protein foods are hyperpalatable for me.

I’m ALWAYS in the mood for meat, eggs, fish, chicken LOL

I can easily not eat cupcakes, candy or pastries, but would have a very hard time resisting chicken or greek yoghurt.

That’s not a problem… that’s a good thing!
You can’t go wrong with eating whole foods and life if better without all of the processed crap.

I’m envious of everyone who is able to include Greek yogurt in their diet. Unfortunately, my body doesn’t process dairy very well BUT occasionally I’ll eat it and then my husband and kids suffer the wrath

I’m lactose intolerant, but get really really bad cravings for dairy. Usually greek yoghurt and cottage cheese are out of budget for me, but I’ve been splurging a bit lately. Turns out the biggest expense is the $40 a month I’ve had to spend on lactase pills

Interesting! Does that hurt your thumbs?? I love hook grip… I used to use a hook grip and I remember catching myself using a hook grip my steering wheel out of habit, lol.

Hahah yep, I imagine that would be difficult. We don’t even use pennies in Canada anymore, thankfully!! They stopped making them around 2012 and my purse is so much lighter now.
“That’ll be 20 cents ma’am”
“Let me just grab 20 coins from the bottom of my purse” - said NO ONE EVER!

I haven’t ever tried lactase pills but perhaps I should give them a try one day because I sure do love cottage cheese!!

They make a HUGE difference

Have you tried the Lactaid brand? It’s REALLY good. Pricey, but worth it IMO

I haven’t had cottage cheese for over a year. I’ll have to check the store and see if they have it here… I’m assuming you are in the US?

Woohooo!!! Time to get sweaty! :fire::fire:

I’m doing some stair sprints this morning. My goal is to get in 5 sprints (100 stairs) and then walk for the next 5.

Yes, I’m on the west coast in British Columbia

All you have to do here is step outside and breathe air to get sweaty.

Hahaha I wish that was my reality! It’s been a very cool summer so far :unamused:

Super jealous! We have been baking this summer.

yeah, it hasn’t gotten above 34C here in Boston.

I’m quite disappointed. As someone who grew up in semi tropical areas, I far prefer to be steaming (35C+ , 80-100% humidity)

I love Boston! Where are you originally from?

:sweat_drops: I would be down to 150lbs in no time! When it’s hot I lose my appetite and have to force feed myself haha

Shanghai. Such a wonderful city, but the rain in the summer is unberable. I’ve had to brave typhoons to get to the gym on multiple occasions :smiling_face_with_tear:

oh! ig I’m used to it bc weather doesn’t seem to affect my appetite. I just like to eat too much

I say this EXACT same thing - except replace protein with raw veggies! If celery and broccoli don’t sound delicious then step away from the fridge! And as an added bonus - no one ever got fat taking down a boatload of veggies - they all got tired of chewing first! lol

Somebody asked Wendler once about eating fruit. His reply was…
I have never seen them lift a guy out of his house with a crane that had banana peels all around his bed.

Try to sell that to the keto community and you just might be killed in your sleep! Bananas are from the devil!!!
