The scale is a wonderful tool but it’s not always the best way to gauge your progress. I know it’s going to kill you but you should hide it from yourself or at least limit your weigh ins.
I believe you are overthinking things and making the process much more complicated than it needs to be.
Everything is fine… you are not fat… keep eating and training hard… relax! Everything is more efficient when you have a calm mind
Most of the cuts through this mass phase will be this length. Good to know that you also use them. I was thinking I few pounds down after 4-6 weeks wouldn’t matter much, but over many, many months, that would add up for me if I don’t do them!
Also happy to report, that my weight is up a few pounds, but my hubby said he can see muscle coming in above my hip bones, and that my hip bones are becoming visable. He said, “so keep doing whatever you are doing”.
Thank you for the help!
Funny you mention that lol. I’m in the other boat. Cannot stand ANYTHING between my cheeks.
I have to kind of account for both the front and back. If I’m not shaving super close in the crotch area I need something that’s at least moisture wicking. My pubic hair grows in super tight coils. So if they’re up against pretty mesh clothing I don’t get irritated nearly at all.
Polyester and I have an ongoing battle though. Can’t stand polyester underwear.
If im in tights I don’t wear anything. Jeans I usually wear Skims. I’ll stretch the elastic out every time so mediums on up I don’t really bother with size.
Awesome!!! This is why I’m so adamant about people staying off the scale and paying attention to visible changes. Weight loss isn’t a linear process and as us women know, our bodies do some whacky things sometimes haha (and that’s an understatement)
I was 175lbs when I was pregnant and I was 175lbs in my best shape ever and I’m 175lbs now… 3 completely different body types. If I had spent my time obsessing over the scale I would never be able to make the changes that I want.
When you’re working to achieve a certain look by trying to gain muscle and lose fat over a period of time I can assure you that you aren’t always going to be pleased with the number you see on the scale. Trust the process, don’t overthink things and don’t change your program every few days—you will achieve your goals but you must take time and be patient.
Not sure who needs to hear this but it’s something I have to tell myself all the time too!
Thank you! Feel free to post here because your opinion is valued and many of the people reading will benefit from hearing your perspective on the topics here!
I spent the majority of my life as a competitive athlete and know how much time and commitment it takes. When it comes to nutrition I used to have a skewed perception and thought that if people want to get in shape they need to follow a strict bodybuilding type diet plan (which obviously works great BUT not sustainable for everyone). It was very hard to change my mindset and I would feel guilty whenever I ate something “bad” that wasn’t in my meal plan but it’s not a healthy way to live and I knew I had to make some changes.
I still pick myself apart even though I feel the healthiest I’ve ever been. When I look in the mirror I always want to see myself the way I looked before stage or photoshoots or the way other women look in magazines… but my wise “old” self knows that’s not a sustainable look and it’s certainly not healthy. Nowadays walking around with visible abs and muscle definition year round is what I aspire to. I want to look feel good, look good naked and have fun doing it!
Here I am blabbing again, lol. The point is that learning to make long term and sustainable lifestyle changes are the most important. People can achieve the physique they want and sustain it if they are willing to put in the time and effort. Consistency brings results!

I don’t know about you guys but these benefits sound pretty darn good to me!
I have been suffering from low back pain for a long time and I am willing to try anything to help because I’m not a fan of taking pain killers. During my quest to find a natural remedy for my back I was informed about the benefits of resveratrol and was told it could be helpful for my back because of its anti-inflammatory properties.
It sounds like a pretty magical supplement and my favorite supplement store just happens to sell Rez-V!!! So ladies, don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just a supplement for men because it’s not. I started taking 600mg/day starting last week and looking forward to seeing/feeling the benefits of this supplement.
