Well, if it means going to court/jail and not having brain damage for the rest of my life… I’ll take the latter. Of course it’s not so simple, but in my mind if I am faced with a situation where I am fearful for my life, and feel as if it is going to be ended by someone man or women, I am going to have to act in self defense as best I know how.
I am not a trained fighter, all I know to do is to tackle or hit something hard and hope for the best.

You do make a good point, there are cases of men being abused by women as well, but its well below 2-5%. That’s the problem, if this was a question, irregardless of gender doing the hitting, it would be considered an assault in most cases.
That’s how twisted the system is, and in fact, the SYSTEM does not favor the woman over the man by any means. Women try to leave more then once from their perpetrators, easier said then done. We are talking about life and death,… survival, the worst case scenario. Defending oneself in an isolated incident of assault is much different then systematic abuse.

That’s pretty much what most people on this thread have been saying.
The judicial system should be on the side of whoever’s right, not systematically on the woman’s side.
In my opinion, this is resulting from the feminist movement that did more than necessary to overturn the huge advantage that men had over women, and for the moment, there is only one side of the argument that is presented on the public place. In the future, men’s rights group will stand up and balance the situation, and equality will eventually come, maybe in a decade or two.

Women have been joining the army, task forces, firefighting and the likes. What’s to assume they aren’t capable of hurting us? Of course when it comes down to honorable options, to harm a women is out of the question. But I don’t care, a human being is a human being. If they want to kill you, they can do it just as well as anyone else.
Only in a life or death situation would I ever raise my hand to a women. Now the life or death situation could be up in the air as to what is considered life or death, and im sure once you goto court for the situation there would be problems. But that’s life, you can survive or you can be killed.
Just to clearify my point… I love my girlfriend, and I would never lay a hand on her. Now she trains regularly, is 1 inch taller then me and weighs almost the same as me… And no she is in gorgeous shape, so let’s not go there. Lol. But none the less, if I weren’t paying attention and she wanted to kill me, oh she could. All she’d need is a hard object and im done.
